Breech Seal Removal

My Diana 48 [.22] started 'feeling' different when fired.

Shot it through the chrono and what used to average 850 f/s was now doing about 550 f/s.

Pulled it apart and the breech seal is shot. This is a new gun with less than 500 rounds through it.

I don't want to send it to Umarex. I don't care that it is under warranty. I've got the part number for the seal and will call them tomorrow and hopefully they will send me the part I need.

Question: what is the best method to remove the damaged seal?

EDIT: never mind . . . found a method on another forum that worked like a dream. Take a 10-24 allen bolt, screw it into the seal. Then yank it out.

yup they can be tricky. glad you got it. I got some from vortek. They fit and seal great.   Dustin
