I got apparently a very slow leak on my hipac 2250. Currently runnin on Co2 atm.. Does anybody know of a uv leak Dye that is miscible with Co2 that won't leave a ton of residue? Only other thing I can think of is an electronic detector, and 💰 won't allow that. Only other idea is to use the bubble test, that will not only be messy but I think the leak may be too slow to use that

Pumping dye into the pressure chamber/valve assembly, and then cleaning it out afterwards isn't going to be any less messy than bubble testing. Take the stock off, and you could either use soapy water, or, as a last resort, dunk the whole thing. Use a hair dryer to get things dried off afterwards.

Soapy water can be caustic and cause rust. If you DO use it in a spray bottle, be sure to not only wipe it down good afterwards but hit it with air to force the residue out of the hidden areas.
Better to use a leak detector fluid in a spray bottle. I use this.
