I can do them as well, but require the upper receiver with cocking bolt to get the free bore / loading tray length correct so as not to have a breech o-ring air leak. They require a bit of machine work to get it all fitted and likely looking at a C note +/- to do so. Barrel diameter tho needs to be the same as OEM if wanting to use the factory barrel band at drop block and also required for bottle clearance.Scott
Do your measuring making sure barrel blank to be used can make specs required to fit into receiver. As I have done in the past with QB's ... omit the o-ring grooves which makes for a more rigid barrel and then bed it in using a light duty epoxy. This not only seals the transfer path but adds a BUNCH of rigidity to an otherwise somewhat flimsy factory barrel / receiver connection. FWIW ... we have had a very good FT shooter here out west screwing around with a gauntlet attempting to get decent accuracy from it .... barrel swaps too and simply could NOT get the flex out of the receiver to main tube connection even with custom barrel band, tank bands and numerous other applied tricks.I say SAVE YOUR MONEY on mods and custom machining work and shoot the gun as is spending said money on a gun / platform better suited to high accuracy.JMO ...Scott

I think you just talked me into continuing my wait for the FX Dreamline to come out. I have been trying to get input on FT and Extreme Benchrest use with the Gauntlet and I see now why I haven't found any. I'm going to take your advice and wait on the FX. Did the FT shooter you mentioned try your method of epoxy on the barrel? I'm guessing the breech should have been made of steel?? I have found what I thought was a little bit of a problem with POI changing on my G from time to time. This is probably where it was coming from. Thanks again,Harry
