I might have to try one of the 4.5-18x44mm scopes to see how they range for field target.

Discovery also makes a shorter lighter HS 4-14X44 SF....but I needed the longer tube on the VT-T to fit my eye placement/sight picture better.
Randall,Dont know how I missed this post! Anyways, glad you picked up a Discovery scope, I love mine and looking to get an HD real soon!

I think I'll be trying one of these down the road!

The way the turrets clicks and track is more toward high end scope manufacturing .

I have one of these on my Flex, nice FFP scope for the money. Just wish it came with a sun shade instead of the flash kill.

I love the fixed 10x44 I have that's a Discovery but I think I would like the extra magnification for long range on my WARP
I bought this same scope a while back and mounted it on my Brocock Bantam Hilite. I'm really liking it so far but have only shot it on targets. I don't do field target so no experience there. It has excellent glass, very clear and the range markings are very close to being right, . Nice repeatable clicks on the turrents and smooth operating dials. The reticle is pretty busy but not too bad and since I usually stay at 8 power and up it's not a problem. I bought this from Charlie at Airgun Optics and had great service also. I will be buying more of their scopes down the road as needed.
