I went out between 0130 and 0245 and then again after 0435 to watch the pasture for Armadillo.  The motion sensor security light at mom’s popped on and off all night but I think it was mostly the wind.  I sleep (very lightly) in the living room these days and mom’s light wakes me up when it comes on.  No sign of the lawn dozers but I’m sure I won’t be sleeping again tonight.

I slightly introduced my newest Maintenance Tech to the wold of "Air guns"
He is a black gun AR-15 guy...
I let him see, hold the Kratos, AA S300 SL, and the FWB 300s.
 He was "Flabber gasted"!
My Senior Tech (an ex-marine sniper) I have shot with a long time, just smiled an evil grin at me... because he knows what he calls my "BB - Pew pew" guns can do.
He fell in love with the Kratos..."Is this one accurate"  Yes sir... if it wasn't I would kick it to the curb.
Measured out 10M in the back room and set up the indoor range for tomorrow because of the horrid weather here.

Later will come out the Texan and blow the new guys .223 mind.

Great work Scott! I put a scope on the new regulated M.457. I had to modify a riser mount to clear the magazine and then went with some nice ultra low rings. Then I put on the two bottle clamps I had lying around from when I switched my max and non regulated M.457 to carbon fiber bottles. One is for an el-cheapo sling and the other is for a bipod. I also tightened the barrel up so the mag fits real snug now.

I had a half of a 5 gallon bucket of the white roof sealer paint left over from when we did the RV. I mixed it up real good and brushed a nice heavy coat on all my 1' x 3' by 2mm high strength steel target blanks. It shouldn't chip out like layers of regular paint. Leaves a nice pellet size witness mark when shot. It's an oil base so it won't wash off.
My range looks all shiny and new.    They are attached to the South side of the trees and you know what they say about moss growing on the North side of the trees. 
Oh and those bright white targets will really show under the halogen range lights at night.

 Gave my new-to-me Diana 34 a full desadulation. Complete disassembly, de-burring and lube. Piston seal was good, replaced the breach seal.
Barrel was slightly out of line with the block, straightened that out.

 Installed a Tech-Sight TS200 on my Crosman 362.

I’ve been sitting in the man shed with the door open on a pleasant but misty evening here in the Flarda panhandle.  Playing with my Oneleaf NVD.  I wondered if I put a red photographer’s gel on the lens of my five million candle power spot light  would the resulting red light have a low enough wave length to register on the NVD?

Bazzanga!  I can see 150 yards clear as day now!  The spot light is mounted on an old camera tripod with tilt and pan.  Trying to design a fixture that will allow me to mount an air rifle securely on top of the light.

I too am a Black Gun Guy....but the AG addiction grabbed me.  Loving the CondorSS and saving for a Texan of my own :-)

Up and at 'um early this morning.
So far I:
Made a bracket to hold the Eklind "T" Allen wrench set and hung it near the newest airgun work bench.
Next I connected the 30 minute SCBA tank to the autostop Vevor compressor (YH knockoff) and set the stop at 3500 psi. The tank was at 3k. I didn't actually time it but it seemed around 5 minutes run time. The temp rose to 145f and leveled off there.
I'll be using this tank for tethering.
The 6.35mm .25 cal pellet sizer is out for delivery this morning. The plan is to adapt it to my home made press to make sizing EZPZ.
If it works as I think it will I'm going to order a 5.5mm sizer for .22 also.

Watched online gun auctions.    I had bid on several AGs.   Bidding went way higher than I thought it would or at least more than I was willing to pay.   Did not win any AGs or PBs.   I guess it's OK, I probably have more than I need.   I've won some real bargains at this auction house before but maybe it's become too popular.

I took the piston out of the 2200 last night to have a closer look at it.  I decided not to mod it but when I stuck all the bits back together I did something wrong and it won’t pump.  I took it apart agin today and vey carefully reassembled it. Success!  Don’t know what I did right this time.

About a year back I acquired a really sanitary fourth model Crosman 760.  It wouldn’t pump up past four strokes and it wouldn’t hold air.  I set it aside intending to reseal it and maybe do a photo thread covering the project.  Last week I assembled all the possibles I might need to do the job and even set up studio lights and a camera in my shop.  Yesterday I embarked on the project.  Knowing in advance that alcohol flushes rarely work on self cockers I still determined to do a thorough flush on this gun before opening it up.  Just in case.
I pumped 10 ml of denatured alcohol through the gun and left it over night.  This morning I pumped it up to five pumps and it held air.  So then I pumped it up to eight pumps and it still held air.  I pumped it ten times for about a dozen shots and it performed perfectly.
Now it’s leaning in the corner with eight pumps in it doing a slow leak down test.

Kawabunga!  Slings BB’s pretty accurately too!

Do you prefer the Twilight version to the all-black one? I started with the Twilight insert and felt like it flared my view. When I found a supplier of the standard insert, I swapped it for that and haven't looked back. I also have the Target (tiny hole) one and it was OK, but the standard 0.093" hole is faster to get on target. (I didn't use it on a bench, which is probably the best use for it.)
