 Putting a bunch of Daisy wads through the new Daisy 880 barrel, to try and get it broke in.
 Started out vertical stringing, but it's calming down now as I go along.

 I impressed a couple of PB shooters with the power and accuracy of air stuffed into a .510 cal. Hatsan Piledriver and let out behind a 345 gr Mr. Hollowpoint. Oh and I could see the hole without calling the range cold to go look, bigger hole, not a much better scope
 Got home and topped off my pony bottles ready for the war on whitetail to begin !!!

Finally got the new piston seal installed on the hatsan 135 piston. I did the hot water method of soaking the seal in boiling hot water. I then used a pair of long prong tweezers to pick it up out of the cup. I set it on a cover I made for the rear hose bib and did the pushing sideways while pushing down. It popped on without much work. Now I just need to reasemble the rifle and hope I fixed it.

Not much. I don't think the new regulator is going to be here until Monday so that projects a no go. I picked up and put away the left overs from the mods I recently did.

Well, today is when I TRY to put the 135 back together.🤔 Biggest concern for me is the trigger.

Dialed up my 0.22 GK1 to 44 FPE today.  Used my Chinese chrony to measure the progress in 1/4 turns.  Looks like it's roughly 80 fps change per quarter turn. 

I had set the GK1 way down to 470 fps when I was working on the shroud.  Now at 958 fps for 17.6 gr Norma domes, or 838 fps for my NOE cast BBT slugs.  Curious that it is louder at 15 MPa than at 32 MPa.  It's probably because the valve dwell time increases with decreasing pressure.  Between 32 MPa to 20 MPa it's about the same sound.

I'll see how I like it, might fiddle with it some more...

Had today off from work, and the goal was to increase the fps of the Notos via adjusting the regulator. Got the speed up to 784fps for about 10 shots. That's increase of about 100fps. I'm content with that!

I put the huben reg on my armada this morning before and aired it up. Seems to be holding good. I just checked it. The reg is exactly where I requested Hajimoto to set it. Now a quick tuning session this weekend and one rifle off the to do list.
