What airgun related did you do today?

I carried the Hatsan Flash QE .22 to the Casting Cabin along with the tin of 217 24 RF Magnum pellets I previously cast. Betty Lou went to the back bedroom for a nap so I'll hold off shooting and running the compressor until she gets up.
2 more vacant spots on the gun stand to fill. I'm thinking the FD-PCP and a 2100 wood stock pumper... or maybe the Crosman Blaze gas ram.

It's was a lead up to guns like the Vantage. I've had it for several years. I actually bought it from the GTA classifieds for $35 and shipping. It had, and still has the RC bearing trigger.
Wait.... it may be a Storm XT.... I'll double check. I know it's a wood stock and no shroud.

LOL... I just happened to look up and it's on a wall rack here in the living room. I pulled it down and had a look...
It's actually the Crosman Blaze NP.

 I got caught up on airgun videos and decided to go scope shopping for the DRS, found a good deal posted in bargain gate.

After getting everything together here is my m50 pistol .495 cal. I also have a ten inch barrel and plan to run the same optical set up. The fiber sights are very handy, all I have to do is change the cheek weld. Then using a high weld the red dot is great. I need to get it bore sighted in soon and then out to field test.heres a couple pics

Fixed the leak on my Avenger, it was my fault or my lathes fault, it had a little chattering on the machining of the base on the upper cylinder port plug/fill port adapter, I cleaned it up on the lathe and now it's good.... my fault for not fixing the lathe sooner......

Had a quiet day to myself mostly. Dabbled in adjusting the trigger on the tx97?! for the first time. There is a clean breaking, distinct second stage on every shot now, but the first stage is more like slop (no resistance). I noticed a loose stock screw on the front right that when tightened wouldn't allow me to cock far enough to engage the safety. I cocked the gun with it loose, then tightened the crew snug and it shot. So then I cocked it again, applied some blue locktite, tightened the screw snug and am leaving it overnite to cure.

Then I disassembled my favorite (the D48), cleaned her insides up good, and installed the JM kit I've had waiting for good bit now.  Didn't have the chance to shoot it though.

Cracked open the GXPump CS1 removed some moisture, reassembled and she pumped the Challenger to 4200psi and heated up to 62C.  I had the auto shutoff set for 4000.  Got to shoot some groups through the Challenger with the Accurate Molds 30-62A bespoke casts (Posted in the Challenger thread).
Before I got it sorted I put 100 strokes on the hand pump and she was stuck at 3000psi.
Before hunting season I'll have to get a pump count for the pp800r and Notos.  I will NOT be hand pumping the Challenger...lol.
Also gonna hook up my 12V leads and fill off the car alternator before hunting season.  Never really had a need for another 24 shots squirrel hunting.  Might be nice to have with me if I'm safari slingin thikgirl all day as I'm walking back to the HRV after 9 shots.  I have been on a few spend the night hunts with PBs so a 12V refill would be nice for a 2 day AG safari.

Love the birds in the background.  I really like the house too!  What year was that built?  I’m guessing 1910ish?  Looks like you are shaded under a black walnut tree?  Rifle looks good too 👌🏼

We have a black walnut that canopies our driveway.  We love that tree but it sure is messy in the fall. 🍂🍁

I was rummaging around in some boxes and found some of the walkies I got from work when they upgraded to cell phones only. I put them on the charger bases and both of them work great so I left one in the house and took the other to Casting Cabin. These are the Baofeng  GT-3.

I also found another set that we used on the ATVs. These ones are the Garmin Rino 110. They are better suited for the ATVs because they have GPS and a ton of features. They run on batteries and can't be left on sitting in the chargers like the GT-3s. But they plug into the power outlets (cig lighter) on the ATVs.

 Yes the house is 1910 on the money LOL, the black walnut trees there are 4 or 5 of them gifted to me by the local squirrels. All are in places the mess is a non issue, except that a squirrel sat on my shooting bench and left all his nutshells

The plenum kit arrived today from eBay for the Notos.  I increased the regulator 1/8th turn and mocked up everything.  Can't repeat any of the coaxing words used to remove the shroud with dremel and hacksaw.  That part of the mod is irreversible.  I anticipate around 23fpe.  My crossroads will be.
Can that push these easy to cast 35gr MP monsters?
Should I order the NOE 220BT30 (28gr HP)?
Live with NOE217RF19.4 groups....
Would CPHP 14.3s be fast enough to deform (850fps)?
I have been contemplating casting the 35gr MP molds in bismuth maybe 25ish gr....hmmm

I haven’t lost the touch!  😆

Those squirrels can hide a lot of those nuts.  They are fun to watch them in the fall.  We have a new tree sprout that we transplanted into a pot here recently.  My son I’d going to try and bonsai it.  We shall see how that goes
