Cleanup is trivially easy. Lazy old me also does not enjoy carrying any more heavy stuff around than I have to. The weight of this afternoons worth of PB ammo is a couple years of pellet shooting by weight. I really like dropping a tin of pellets in my pocket and having enough ammo for a couple hours of practice. But I only shoot .177 and .22, so no heavy, large caliber pellets. Also, no ear protection required with my AGs. I'm not much of a fan of heavy recoil these days either. In the last few years, during which I've gotten pretty serious about AGs, I've found myself more and more disinterested in PBs and their downsides. But they are still cool.Much of the above sounds like me. I only have one PB but still dislike the time and the solvent smell of cleaning up (it’s a revolver). The air rifle is quiet enough I use one earplug, only on my shooting side, and even without it the dB level isn’t bad. No recoil...yep. Practicing several times a week is easy, right at home, and I can recover most of the pellets.I haven’t practiced since two days ago but will likely still get in 3x this week, as usual. It’s just a lot of fun to work on shooting for better accuracy than thinking—always, even at the back of the mind—about self defense aspects.Crazy rain has stopped for the moment, so maybe soon...

Sadly the only thing I could muster yesterday was going to a Tractor Supply for something totally unrelated and seeing there was a Daisy display with everything out in the open (nothing locked up). Was in northern Maryland. They didn't have anything very interesting (to me), but at least they had AG stuff available.
Contractors have been in the Plant all week installing equipment. Yesterday, one of them asked me if I was a "shooter". I let him know I got into Air Guns pretty heavy. Much like every other P.B. guy he said "BB Guns?" During the conversation he simply could not grasp they had guns like I was describing. So today I brought my HW98, Air Arms S400, and the Texan to work to show him not all "Air Guns" are "B.B. Guns".
He was "slack jawed" in awe. My 3rd shift guy is a fan of what we do. Ex Marine sniper and has MANY PB's. When I got there I told him the plans. Showed him what I brought.Once dawn came he wanted to shoot the HW98... I think we will have another new member soon.

After pouring hydrogen peroxide down the sink drains to kill them where they live, I went on a Rambo-esqe drain fly killing rampage with the bug assault salt 2.0 loaded with table salt and cinnamon. I think I must have burned through at least a tablespoon of the mixture.Mods, feel free to remove this post if it's inappropriate.
