What airgun related did you do today?

As far as my MKII compressor for filling tanks. I keep a gallon jug of water in the freezer. A few hours before use, I drop that jug in my 5gallon bucket of water. I can top off all 4 of my tanks in one session then return the jug to the freezer and dump the bucket. Before I got my Vevor for filling guns, I was topping off my tanks every couple of months or so depending on how often I shot the PCP guns.

At least for now... I don't really have a need for the YH.  But the plan, at least now while I don't have anything other than the Freedom, is to only fill GUNS, not bottles/tanks.

I shoot from home, inside my home even when I am pesting, so, at least for now... I think... I will not be using the YH enough to ever push the temps.

Then again...   isn't that the problem with the rabbit hole?  (chuckle)

Whether you know it or not, you already opened that door when you hit the 'buy it now' on that YH. I will tell you that your only hope is to completely ignore the Bargain and Classified Gates.

The ONLY reason why I pulled the trigger on this YH compressor is that I think I will eventually upgrade from the Nova Freedom.

All I do is "local" pesting, so I will never be filling a "tank"... just the gun.

I don't hunt and I tire really quickly from shooting targets unless I am trying to zero a scope.

Yeah... I know... but as I don't have any higher hopes for my air gunning, I think I can manage it.

I did finally get Chairgun to work!  I needed to upgrade Java on my very old computer.


It is a brilliant program and it confirmed my hold overs at 55-60 yards.

So, I am not obsessed!  I am not obsessed  I am not obsessed...

I am taring down my Crosman 760 from my youth. Some of you grey beards remember those days, right? Well it`s finally time to rebuild this gun so I may as well get started.

I also am moving my VMX to it`s new lovely wood stock that just came in.

Probably because I have better things to keep cold with my ice  Besides I have not seen the head temperature go above 59*C yet so my Rube Goldberg rig is keeping the cooling water well below critical temperatures. 
 My owners manual says max temperature for the heads is 75*C

Worked on my old Beeman Crow Magnum theoben Eliminator. I think I found the problem to be the fill valve for the gas Ram. Will likely be ordering a new valve in the next couple of days. Hopefully, that's the problem. Then I can get it sold

While returning from a hike, I drove right past a dairy farm.  I looked around for some workers or other activity but nothing was happening at that moment that I could spy.  I’m going to have to stop by again and see if I can make contact with someone to inquire if they would be interested in me coming by with my air powered pea shooters and maybe helping lower the pest problem around the place.  One can only hope.  It’s only a half hour drive away from the house.
