Pretty sure if you see that you'll drop a gun..... and run!!!
I made my neighbors Winchester 1000 shootable again !! He gave it to me yesterday saying that he couldn't hit a squirrel at 15 feet. I shot it at my basement range (17 yds) and couldn't tell where the pellet went. So I took off the scope to try the iron sights. Couldn't get a sight line because the barrel was bent upward. When I took the sights off I could see that the barrel was at least a 1/2 " up and the stock was cracked at the hand grip area. I was pretty sure someone let the barrel snap back so I put it in the vise and bent it back. Put the scope back on and got it to do 3/4" groups @ 17 yds. Brought it back over to him and had him try it. Sure enough he cocked it, let go of the barrel and was going to load it. He then admitted that he ( or someone) must have done it. So I did my good deed for the day.
Looks like a girl I dated ONCE. Hee hee
Going through the springer and pumper collection, shooting each one, lubing if necessary. Got hung up on my Custom shop 1322 14 LW barrel long steel breach, recently set it back up as a pistol, and decided it was time to mount a pistol scope on it. Brewing a pot of coffee, only about 1/2 way through the process so far, and I need a boost on this cold gloomy day
Well, I mowed and weed sprayed our 5 acres. Then went down and mowed Killers 5+ acres. Then I jumped on his tractor ( this is where the airgun related part comes in). There is a 3 acre garden between us and killer. The original land owner of mine and Killer's property still owned that and he recently sold two acres of it to a guy from where I work. That left the one acre next to me open. I took the Ford 3600 and a disc and knocked it down. Then I took my 4 wheeler and drug it with a 6x8 section of chain link fence and a 6' piece of 4" steel pipe.I'm going to keep working it until it's flat enough to mow.And that, Ladies and Gentlemen, will be our new 1 acre shooting range. It's about 150 wide buy 250 deep ish.The area in yellow....
It's backed up by acres and acre of woods, swamp and peanut fields.
Tom.... did I mention swamp? You know what comes with swamps? I prefer letting the critters and such come to me over venturing too far out there.
Bill, you got a bushhog mower for the Grizzly? That was one of my FIRST investments after the DE-Vorce years ago. With that and Satan's daughter gone, got my Weekends back.
