I like to chop them to right around 17 - 18 inches. Those 24 are a bit long and skinny for me to feel comfortable with. I'm not a total "duck foot" but I seem to have more accidents than the average.
Keith if it hadn't been for NOE selling the quality molds that they do in .22 and .25 I'd still be worried about wasting pellets. . . . now I recover them from my pellet traps and use them again. I've kept it as simple as I can too because I'm still using old caster and ladle from my muzzle loading stuff. It's actually kind of a hobby in itself if you ask me
I weighed my Texan .257 - 12.4lbs with scope, and my .257 Citrus with scope at 11.8 lbs.

I put a new brake line on my hunting truck, Thursday as I was approaching the driveway @ work the pedal went soft and I over shot the driveway by a truck width. Road salt took its toll this year, lucky I had the farm truck to go back home and to work again. Had a coil of new brake line and fittings waiting for nicer weather to do the fix, but as Murphy's law dictates on the brighter side it happend at work and I had a nice heated shop for the repair.
I just got back in from laying out my long rang, range. Marking paint every 25 yards. For 225 yards. Alls that’s left is to make the return trip planting gongs.
Hope you find the leak and it's an easy fix!I just got done tuning the Bandit. I think I am happy with the results but the darn rain...Posted a thread on it in the darkside gate.
