What airgun related did you do today?

Headed to a farm equipment auction to find a rotary tiller or harrow for a compact tractor so I can get my shooting lanes opened up and plant a garden in them. Target practice and pest control all in one lane.

Went back to my 90s 880, stabilized the barrel and recrowned it.

I just did a five shot string with my favorite Crosman 150 using my cast 19.6 grain Hunters

I installed the Hajimoto tune kit, and shimmed the regulator to 1400 psi in my .22 Gauntlet last night.
Installed the lighter trigger spring and adjusted the sear. What an improvement!
Also re-crowned the barrel and cleaned up the breech.
Filled the bottle to 3000 psi before I went to bed to check for leaks. So far, so good this morning.
Hope to get a chance to try it out today.

I shot 9 5-shot groups with my 152gr cast bullets out of my Slayer.

Took my 1740 completely down to remove a stuck cart.
As long as I had it down did a little testing to see that a Maximus trigger pack does fit, and it will fit in a 392P stock....with a little work in the wood and a longer tube.
 Then clipped two coils on the hammer spring to get better use of the power adjuster.
 Put it all back together and shot a while in the family room.

Did you put an access hole in the tube to get future stuck carts out? A properly place hole in the tube near the nipple end of the cart would do nicely. Just make it big enough to insert a pick to coax a stuck cart out.

I drill each of mine as I have them apart. It's a feature I would like to see in all C02 guns with "closed/capped" tubes.

PS. "closed/capped" should not be confused with pressurized C02 tubes.

I'll be hunting the red squirrels during the warmer months this coming summer with one of my Crosman 150's, more than likely the one in my signature

Nope, I forgot about that mod until you mentioned it now.

Don't feel bad, I just learned yesterday that the shroud on an Aspen / Freedom has a cap on it that can be removed. I had been removing the entire shroud before That of course ended up in having to re-zero each time.

Manage to get a 3ft. harrow at the auction yesterday. Needs a little work on the frame, the gangs and discs are in real good shape. It won't be long if this weather ever quits I will have my old shooting lanes opened up and ready to use. One lane will have a shooting house with electric run to it so I don't have string extension cords all over the place.

Some heat and AC would be really nice. There are window AC units that have a heat pump and they work quite well.

I contemplated long and hard about taking my Varmint and converting to .177.  I have the parts on-hand, but the weather is annoying me and I left my cratex cone (for cleaning the leade) in the shed.  >sigh<
