Maiden voyage with the Rocker1 Moderator.  Hammer noise and a mouse fart in the woods shooting some cones heading back to the car.  Just need some still sightings...lol
Was also trying to get my RunNGun load-out in the picture but the utility belt is cut off.  Including Notos and scope maybe 10-12 pounds :-)

So is that a chest rig you have set up for the RunNGun?  There are some fairly inexpensive ones on that big river in S. America that I have looked at.  The brand is WYNEX.  Made in China if that matters to you.  I have a couple of their smaller phone type organizer pouches that attach to larger bags.  Definitely good quality for the $$$.  Search for WYNEX or WYNEX TACTICAL to see what they offer should you be interested.  Safe hunting!

 Installed the TKO trigger on my 3622, and broke the TKO 3D printed LDC just pressing it on the barrel  Got some super super glue setting that back together, I will reinforce that with a epoxy resin coating perhaps.

Changed the spring on my d48 with JM guide and tophat. It not only got the pellet through 2 cigar tins at 50 ft (my stated goal), it also sounded a little lower tone and not louder despite the speed increase... and then I shot a 5 shot tester group and all five shots went in the 9 ring in 3 overlapping holes, knocking out the 10 bull 2. Expectations exceeded tonight: a great way to end the day!

Contains: Dude wipes, Butcher's shears, 2 glow sticks, binoculars, ziplock bag of para-chord, HF disposable gloves 3-4 Gallon ziplock bags, side pocket has headlight and spare mag.  There's a compass on the side pocket zipper. The other side holds a .5L water bottle and there's still room in the main pouch for a sandwich bag of Trail Mix.
The utility belt holds; Micro Machette (Cheap Rambo Knife), Inuit knife, Rangefinder and a cellphone size pouch that has a velcro flap for my laminated hunting license and USACOE permission printout.

I found my ADHD does good with walk to a suspected squirrel housing project and just sit back to tree.  I have a popup blind that is super light and easy to deploy but the back to a tree seams to work equally as well.

Walked 2 miles of knarly underbrush on my favorite permission.  Actually about half was a "deer trail" that was overgrown but easy walking.  Shot some field targets with the Notos on the way back to the car.  Pulling up I bumped a Buck and two does each about 225#.  They crossed the road leaving the permission and into the woods on the other side of the road that's USACOE property but off the permission map :-(
Coming back to the car I found the escape route and confirmed where they broke through the underbrush and crossed the road.  Photo and GPS pin in my OnX so a good day of scouting even if no nutter sightings.

Right on!  I should maybe try something like that for a day adventure pack.  I like bags/packs

Bought an Apache 3800 case in black at Harbor Freight for my GK1.  Received my folding stock in the mail (from JKArmy) after it disappeared in the USPS system for three weeks.  Installed a rear Picatinny rail on my GK1 and attached the folding stock.  Maybe tomorrow I'll try to fit it all in the new gun case.  Somewhat related, also picked up a ding dong unit from HF to see if it can detect a ground hog that has taken residence under my porch.  Need to know when it's active so I can have a chance at giving it a lead pill.

Only 1.8 miles on woodswalk today.  Drolling over my friend's Escape UL gave him some cast goodies to try in his Escape and Challenger and some NOE 19.4s for whatever....
No squirrels but saw a hen Turkey on private property leaving the WMA

I thought I was gonna have an easy time spring changing the 460. No such luck. The fps is bouncing around too much. Gonna take the 460 apart fully and check the seals, pistong, piston stem this weekend to figure out what the issue is.  Will give a good lube while at it.

I drove into Troy, Al. to pick up a few things for the fridge.
On the way back I spotted the pawn shop. They usually have a few airguns hanging on the wall in the corner.
They had some run of the mill plastic stock springers but I notice some wood showing in the back.
I asked to see it and it was a Crosman Sierra Pro .177 kit. Kit meaning that it sold with a Crosman 3-9x40 AO scope. And this gun still had that factory scope on it.
I asked if I could check the spring if I didn't fully cock it. The spring felt good. It has a few scratches in the stock but the finish looks really good. And no rust.
The hangy tag said $125. I offered $100 out the door. The young man looked it up to see what they had in it and took my offer.
I got home and put the groceries away and stepped out on the front porch to see how badly I burned myself. Only pellets I had on hand without going to my shop was a tin of 10.5 Piranhas. These things don't shoot good in any of my guns. But wth, I'm just seeing if the gun shoots.
Loaded one up, adjusted the AO, fine tuned the cross hair focus and aimed at an old hub cap hanging on the fence 30+ yards away.
TWANG !!! hole right through the hub cap right where I aimed.
Trigger felt good. No boingy boingy spring... just a good solid thunk.
Well lookie there... another great truck gun.
