Our whole 8 acres looks like a man cave... inside and out.. and Betty Lou is just fine with it.... that's why I love her.
Anyhow... it's not so much what we're gonna do that's airgun related today... it's what will be tempting to do....
Let me elaborate...
First we're going to load up the wheelers and head south to Geneva State Forrest for some trail riding. Then we're going to hit the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo festival. That's where the airgun stuff comes in.... any idea how hard it's gonna be to see all them rattlesnakes without giving in to the urge to shoot a few?

Dug the old seal out and compressed a nylon washer in its place. Chucked it up in my Dremel and took a small fine file to it, to smooth it.

PART 2

Well,in spite of what I had read,nylon didn't work very good as a stem seal.
Failed on me this morning. Too hard.
So this time cut a seal from a rubber washer.
Put the stem back in the dremel and shaped it with a tiny fine file.
Oiled it and put everything back together. Works a lot better!

Grats on the sale!

Just came in from shooting a good bit this afternoon. Even dragged out the Titan (Train NP2). Boy do I stink with the jumpers

I'm going to shoot the Mayhem some later today but right now the shooting table is in direct sunlight. I could almost feel the sunburn coming on!

In an hour or two it will be in the shade. Heck, I have 5 hours of daylight left!

I shot my Air Speed and AT44 Long then installed the Huma Quick Fill with Guage on my Marauder. I was a totally air gunified day!

Got out to shoot my Gamo and a Crosman Summit Ranger (both .177) with my elderly father. We had a great time. With the scope he did a great job hitting the targets (it was his first experience with air rifles). He ended up wanting to keep the Gamo for plinking at pesky squirrels in the back yard. Since that was far safer than him shooting a firearm, I agreed. Spending time and having fun with my folks was a great joy.

I rebuilt my Sheridan E Series pistol. I should have done this years ago! It wasn't that hard, and the reward is awesome. With 13.73gn Exacts I shot a respectable 25 yard group and dinged the fatman at 50 yards.
Let me tell you the E Series hits hard.

Organized all the items I've collected for shooting. Aluminun cans, tin cans, pill bottles, batteries, soda bottle tops.

Then i spray glued 300 of the gamo targets to cardboard and constructed another target box of rubber mulch.

Practiced with my NP2 shooting cat food cans off a 2x4 at 35 yards. They're 4 inches in diameter, and about 1.5 inches deep (i shoot them on edge). I also spent some time missing cat food cans at 35 yards. So hard to shoot a springer well.

I spent a good deal of time missing targets with the Mayhem, did a little better with the Titan. (Springers)

Then I starte shooting same hole groups at 33 yards with the Aspen (PCP)

Not very good with the springers, for one I am out of practice with them, and again I was never very good with them.

I unboxed and setup a new Harbor Freight Fortress 2 gallon 1.2 HP 135 PSI Ultra Quiet Oil-Free Professional Air Compressor, mounted filters and air dryer. Now waiting for the F10 Shoebox to show up Tuesday.
