What airgun related did you do today?

While we're in the planning stages of our trip next month I figure I should get the NOTOS out and make sure there are no issues. The plan being to tether it also called for some test runs. So I brought the whole rig to the front porch and set up a 25yd target stand.
This will be the rig for today's shooting.

OH BTW... once pollen season is over the front deck will get bleached and painted. Last year we did the wood ramp and hand rails in the back. As you can see from the pictures we live in a very pollen rich environment. Bleaching and painting needs done every 2 years. The front deck has been neglected since before we took over the place.

 Just returned from an all day road trip, Milwaukee and back basically LOL Regrouping and deciding what airgun mischiefs I should venture into next.

I took the Hatsan Mod 135 out of its stock and pumped the leaking Vortex ram up to just shy of 140 bar.  I chronographed it and it’s running right where it should be now.  I plan to do weekly chronograph checks and plot it’s decline.

 I thought about removing the scope and one-piece mount from my PP700SA and then put it back in the box and shot my rifle instead.

I got the flip up sights on the m50 this morning. Now to get them sighted in.

 Mounted my new air filters on the Tuxing 42, it is a bit different and I do not have an outlet to hook up my auto shutoff gage, may add a tee or the like to get the auto shutoff on again. But I have a gage on my Alpha 1 final filter, and the bottles etc.
    The OE twin filter that came installed in the unit did not have any filter medium in them at all, I checked the new and this did have that done and spares all the other filters I have were all pre loaded, LOL. Good thing I had the alpha on the end to catch all the missed stuff, it was always dry on that relief valve.

 Installed a Vortek delrin kit in my HW50S. Messed around with my AR2078B trigger, slight improvement.
Actually increased the weight of my Notos trigger, I love a good surprise but "dang" that thing was light, hehe.

 I put some barrel spacers in this 2100 Classic. It was loose, rattling and the stock twisted around a bit. I put two wraps of electrical tape around the stock mounting area and one around the barrel and tube where they are clamped. It's very solid now. I got the #411 Precision Match Sights NIB from Ebay last year.

 It still needs a good break in but it's already shooting pretty good. I want to improve the trigger and get it sealed up a little better next.

The trigger is a tuff one... there are mods out there but I haven't been successful with them. I just made myself get used to them.

 I hear that. I'm going to slightly reduce the trigger and sear spring tensions. Right now you can pick up the rifle by the trigger and it won't fire.
I'm all for a safe trigger but that's a little much lol.

I installed the rocker1 nylon hammer in the brod today. Then took the adjuster up 3.5 turns to start with. I did one dry fire shot to do the traditional napkin test, making sure my tp sealed again. It seemed to have sealed good. Plus I can already hear it's shooting way harder with the new hammer installed. Maybe next weekend I will get it out to the garage and do a tune. My goal is 70 fpe. That would be 1025fps with a 30 gr projectile. We shall see. Then I messed around with the new bipod some. It seems like a perfect bipod for the m457. I also ran the compressor for a half hour filling the 6.8 liter bottle.  James that compressor set up is awesome.

The 2100 does need Kali, the Hindu, goddess for that trigger job 

My Polish friend (he probably has extra hands 😂) did an excellent job on my 2100 after he bought it from me when both of us were still in the Philippines.

He’s handy with the lathe, so…

He suppressed the barrel, put shims, a set screw, polished the contact points, replaced the springs on the trigger mechanism and made it so crisp 👍

While listening I took 50 shots with the IZH MP60.

Ronno6's trigger mod for the 2100 is simple and costs nothing.  PM him about it.  It's not a huge improvement but it is an improvement.  Reducing the sear engagement works and the two together make a pretty significant improvement. 

I took the Flash-R for a walk around my permission today.  Ed was harassing a nuisance gator with 12 gauge bird shot and asked me to take a shot.  I declined to shoot it with the Flash but offered to get a BB slinger.  About then the gator got tired of Ed blasting it and headed off downstream.  Ed is a fisherman, not a hunter.  I could see his eyes glaze over when I started bragging about the Flash so I went back to the brush pile and shot branches off a snag at thirty five yards.

I fixed the hammer in the Crosman DPMS SBR.  It’s getting to be CO2 weather and time to run drills in the yard

First round of parts for the smoked Vevor (YH) compressor are out for delivery this morning. This one contains the high side piston that changes it from the cup type seal to the 3 rings type. It also contains the 2 main gaskets.
The second kit arrives arrives in a couple more days and this one contains all the rest of the rebuild parts plus some spares.
Tomorrow the new valve/fill station combo for the 60 minute MSA SCBA tank is due to arrive. That's the tank I want to take with us on our trip. I have tethered and shot the tank down to around 2500 psi with various guns. Once it's down to 2k I'll continue to shoot it down with some 2k guns tethered. When it hits 1200 I'll just dump the rest for the valve swap. I'll get a good look at the inside of that tank for any sign of moisture or other issues.
I'll use the rebuilt compressor break in process to refill it in sessions.

 Thank you! I've been perusing Ronno6's and others posts regarding the Crosman's. I'm going to start with polishing the pins, hammer and sear. Trim the sear, lighten the springs and add teflon washers. Just looking for improvement, not a match trigger (yet).

 Didn't expect to go down the 2100 rabbit hole, now I'm looking at getting a Legacy 1000 to kit-bash...
