I picked up the Crosman FA M1 using Bass Pro bonus points a few weeks ago. It's a surprisingly cool little CO2 airgun. Super fast shot cycle.

Besides a slew of non-airgun errands, I looked for a Daisy Rocket Launcher at Walmart, Tractor Supply, and Big R. All in vain, even though the Big R store website for this location listed one as in stock.

The device is intended for use by two shooters, or one with a gun that can fire a second shot immediately after the first shot. I think it would still be fun with even the extra delays inherent to pumping and reloading, because if the first shot trips the paddle, then the launched empty soda can (or whatever) is still going to move to some unpredictable landing place.

If I can recock the not-yet-delivered Model 22 fast enough, shooting the can before it lands might not be out of the question. Maybe an inverted paper cone would shoot high and float down a little slower.

Or, you could look for Crosman Hahn 166 Super BB Repeater. It's a CO2 lever asction bb rifle. They are a lot of fun and now I have to look for one of those contraptions you just described

I went whole hog with the umarex colt peacemaker and the legends lever action rifle then i bought a Barra Schofield with the .22 barrel kit. The peacemaker and the legends rifle use the same cartridge (.177 pellet) and now I'm looking around for the Barra 1866 CO2 lever action rifle and a .22 barrel kit since the Schofield and the Barra rifle use the same cartridge.  I had to put them on the back burner though, I just bought two wusthof knives and they cost about as much as the Barra toys put together.

Yesterday I installed the piston in my H135! Yeah! Today I'm going to get the rest of the gun put back together,,,, maybe 🤔.🤣😂🤣 Poor thing has been just sitting in the airgun shed for a couple of months.☹️ I do need to get it back together so I have room to finally fix the leak in my impact.😵‍💫😵‍💫

Wrote to Balistas in the Czech Rep, asking them when they will have this AA S400 in stock as they now ship to the US. I think they gave it a go, this international shipping thing, just a few months ago 

I like this one much better than the heavily discounted BSA R10 AoA is selling, but I have also been looking at that one as so so option.

I like AA's S series PCPs; very simple to work one and they're elegant 

Mundilar also sells the same AG but the stock is not walnut. More expensive in price and shipping as well.

I got a reply right away but they were asking me more questions.

I really hope to get this AG or the walnut S500 XS, which I also inquired about. You can preorder one from PA and wait 3 months; that’s too much waiting for an outright purchase, IMHO 

Not interested at all in the S410/S510 as I don’t really like magazine-fed airguns

Quite frankly , I'm tempted to flirt with her, lol, haha!

Anyway, she said the S500 XS .22 in walnut is not available (I was a bit partial to this one  ), but the one I originally asked about, the classic S400 .22 in walnut, will be in a week or two, aha!

I haven't purchased any whole airgun, just Crosman parts, since 2020, so this will be it 

I'm already having dreams about it   

Their inventory was refreshed last night, 2 of each in .177 and .22, so I was able to order one today.

Had to call my bank though; a must for offshore purchases 👍

I opted for the .177 instead of my original intention of getting the .22 because, upon reading the fine print, it’s actually a low power 16j/12FPE version, which I was planning to make it into 

Their UPS fee has dipped down to $39 from $51, nice. Doesn’t hurt to save a few $ 

I might be charged US Customs taxes though 😂

This is my first AG (not parts) purchase since 2020 🤔

 I took a look at Mr. B's AKA deer hunting rookie, That nailed his first deer with a rifle I sighted in for him last minute Gamo Swarm Whisper today first I shot it to see where it was hitting, ... not on paper. OK lets see the scope is a bit canted, might as well take it apart and set it up with the bubble levels, oh look the scope ring to rail mounted are reversed in every way possible  I take it alle down set it all up from scratch leveled locked down put the bore laser in much closer, now to make the final adjustments...
 Go to turn the coin slot turrets, and they are both tight in one direction  I use a fat stubby screwdriver as that gives me the best control when "clicking", they break free and seem to track ok yet 
 Sighted it in for the 700 fps adv. and the CPHP he uses. Plinkked on and off with it through the day fun gun, good back yard pesting power and accuracy.

I cast pellets in .22 and .25 and I notice that some of them fit tighter in certain gun than others.
I have a couple ideas and have watched some videos.
If it looks like it's going to work out, I'll give it it's own thread.

Make them all the same size, but may still be a difference in bore chamber size between guns.......?

I have had some Chinese .22 airguns that it felt like the pellet had to be driven in, and some .22 airguns that pellets fell in loose to a point.

 I had one .177 break barrel (Beeman Silver Kodiak) that the pellets went in with a SNAP!.
Turned out they hadn't chamfered the bore chamber enough,.. it looked chamfered but they left a burr.

 Well that turned out good!

Decided to reseal the 79G and take a look at the crappy trigger.   Takedown was a piece of cake until I dropped the tiny CO2 screen.  Won't be the end of the world if I don't find it (but I will be irritated at myself).   The insides look like new with the factory grease completely dried out.  Parts all look like new, barely detectable wear marks on the impact point where the hammer hits the valve.   The trigger notch looked pretty rough so I stoned it a bit to clean it up.   The trigger spring is way to heavy, I'll clip a coil there.  Hopefully I can end up with a decent trigger.  Maybe I'll finish the reseal tomorrow.   I really want to like this gun but I can't like it too much without a better trigger.

I picked up a Webley premier and a Beeman 700 recently.  Both appear to have been sitting around unused for years.  In both guns the old oil in the compession tube had become thick and very tacky.  I have also seen oil become an adhesive when really old and dried out.  This dry, tacky oil destroyed the piston seal on the Beeman.
