i bought 10 of them last year and like to use them. it stays in the rifle case with the rifle usually.

Buy some Tic-Tac's.  Eat Tic-Tac's.  Put pellets in Tic-Tac container.

How accurate are the tic-tacs, and do they make the rifling sticky?

I get usable groups out of all flavors but prefer the mixed berry.

One needs to be mindful of the flavor the Tic-Tac would impart to the meat when hunting game animals.  Personally, I would not enjoy "Wintergreen Mint" Squirrel, nor "Orange" Rabbit.  But that's just me!

This is what I use which gives me 30 shots on board for my .22 and 24 on board for my .25 which is plenty for squirrels, etc.  No rattle and works great for Marauders and maybe Gauntlets, too.

Indeed.   Altoid Minis hit even harder (larger caliber), but after all, they are curiously strong.

I feel like a pellet pouch or container in the woods is just an extra step and not necessary.  I have never had an issue with pellet deformation in my pocket.  If you wear tight jeans, you might. And the front pants pocket doesnt get dirt and things in it, it sits too flat i think.  But it's never been an issue for me.

Many years ago I used to plink in my backyard wearing these ones by Crosman that came with Copperhead Flatheads, think they were sold at Sears of Jefferson's, never tested in real woods, just in concrete jungle's backyards..

I am with Mike on medical containers, I use the blood sugar test strip containers to carry my ammo, does great for the big bore stuff.

Paper towel pieces work pretty good for me.

I had a discarded Vick's Inhaler.  Take it apart and saw off the inside above the threads. Throw that part away. Use a file to smooth up ragged edges, wash and dry it,and fill with .177 or .22 pellets. Carry in my shirt pocket.

I like the pellpens. No rattle and is easy to store in a shirt pocket.
