Benji Pump mod Large brass nut leaking

I've been searching for a while and can't find anything about this one.
I've got everything setup for the air compressor assist/booster.
The problem I ran into is the large brass nut that holds the base to the handle assy leaks.
I tried using a sealer on it and also tried using an o-ring as a face seal but no luck.
This has to have happened to others...anyone find a solution?

 You will have to do a little more searching, but TerryH did one of the best HPA hand pump booster setups I have seen. Look through the list of his post I linked to.

I use to boost that Benjamin pump.  The big, brass nut WILL leak.  The BEST fix, would be to have a machine shop machine it for an 0-ring.  Outside of that, what worked best for me, was using several layers of teflon tape.  But, the o-ring deal would be SWEET if you could find someone to do it for you.
