Thanks, but other than following that build video to get the alignment done well, it has been dumb luck, push the button on my part. The only thing in my scrap bin is the original bed leveling test print from his other video.
I was expecting a bunch of front end frustration, but now I would encourage people to, for under $200, give it a try...
Now to find a good

I like my ender 3 so far and with a open build volume like the ender ABS may not print well. ABS likes to be hot throughout the entire print. I have a spool of PETG to test out and a few mods to put on my ender here some time.

I very much recommend printing in PETG. ABS has given me headaches in the past, and although PETG can have stringing problems, once you tune in a good preset for the particular filament you have, it can be stronger and easier to print in the long run.
I have 2 3D printers myself and one I mainly print PETG with. One thing I have noticed is transparent PETG prints a little differently to solid-colour filaments.
If you have the patience to build something and have basic machining knowledge then 3D printers are great. my current one was a complete DIY kit (Tevo Tarantula) and took around 6 hours total to put together (With a lot of care to keep everything square).
I have heard a lot of good things about the Ender 3, so glad you have had good success.
