Gray at our feeder looks to be preggers.

Been watching a squirrel hitting the bird feeder recently. Looks a little on the heavy side, moving a little slower than most, and her teats are visible to the naked eye from 25yds away. My guess is she's pregnant with my early fall chili meat. Figure I'll leave her be, keep the feeder filled, and let her fatten herself up for the rest of the month. Gray season starts Sept 1 here in NH. Anxiously awaiting my first hunt-n-harvest.

On another note, I haven't seen a single Red in about a month. I'm thinking my early summer pest control was very efficient... or they know they're now destined for the slow cooker.

Same here on the reds none sense the spring. Good idea ,although according to what I have read June and July is the time for their second litters

Well, we'll see what happens with her. Got a pic, although it's not a very good one. Either way, I'll keep her fat and happy... for now.
