Anybody have a BSA Supersport? What's it like? How's it shoot? Not planning on buying one-just curious. Haven't seen any posts about it. Thanks.

Same gun as the BSA Lightning just without the moderator. It is a nice gun. Carbine sized. Decent kick for its size. Shoots about a quarter sized group with the right pellets at 30 yards. a bit over priced if you ask me. the shoot right at 12 FPE is .177

I have a new Lightning XL .177cal I took in on a trade and its shooting 875fps ave with 7.9gr cphp's I really like the rifle but I wish it was a .22cal, IMO these gun are better in this caliber, the trigger was a little stiff even with the adjustment screw all the way out of the trigger but I tweaked the spring in the trigger and now its very very good, the Lightning and Super Sport are basically the same gun with a different barrel configuration, and I plan on buying a Super Sport barrel in .22cal to replace mine and then I'll be much happier with it! but over all the newer guns made in Spain are pretty good at least mine is, they do have allot of power for such a small rifle and it make them very hard to shoot consistently accurate in .177cal off hand, but other than that theirs no spring noise twang or anything like that in the gun I have and it was almost NIB when I got it, maybe when it calms down some after some shooting it my be more consistent.

i got a .22 supersport that has a crisp 2 stage trigger, shoots very consistently at 696 fps with either CP or jsb 14.3. it is light, quiet and very accurate. I love that gun...
