There are times when I change the elevation on my scope the group will move horizonally. I would like to see a schematic to see why this happens. Have BSA, Leapers and Baraska scopes.

Maybe the scope isn't trued to the gun?
One tip I read when changing the elevation or windage is to turn it 10 clicks beyond the point you want it, then turn it back to where you want it to be. Sometimes a one or two click adjustment doesn't change the reticle like you would expect it to.
Some where on here is a good "scopes for dummies" article. (not calling you a dummie, please don't take it the wrong way). Or Pyramyd Air has some good articles and videos on scopes.

Every time you make an adjustment, give the turrets a few light taps with the handle of a screwdriver. It kind of "sets" everything.
