The barrel port however was still at .195. Opened it up and now it’s pushing unsized 66 grain bbt at near 900 FPS which will put it at 925 sized to .299.

Now that is super nice in a traditional style rifle, IMO (ie not a typical manufactured repeater or direct flow system, not that there is anything wrong with that). The RS in most any caliber really has to be just the best in class (price, style, versatility, etc), IMO.
Rick has a 357 sniper that he has installed a .30 barrel and probe in. The 357 valve is larger inside dia than my 30. He’s pushed the 66 to 1025 FPS. No info on the curve, but the ports are .250. I like what Michael is doing on the .257 conversion, and am considering a conversion myself. I’m curious as to the difference in the valve size of the .25, 357 and possibly the .45
Talked to Rick this morning, he doesn’t have a .30 mag, but said his 357 mag slid right into place into my .30. So I’m thinking the 30 would fit the 357.
Daniel, I added a bit to the post just above yours above this one.
