Gauntlet barrel band

I didn't care for the bottle to shroud stabilizer so I thought I would try to make a barrel band that attached to the bottle block, this was my first attempt at milling a part on my new to me smithy 3 in 1 machine ,I used 1 inch med rings and turned a bushing with a collar on one end for grub screws to adjust tension on the shrould. Haven't reassembled the rifle yet  need to cut a notch on the stock to clear the ring clamp .hope to finish tommorow

Got it back together and sighted in
Set it against the wall kinda rough,  picked it up by the barrel and then shot a mag ,still right on, think it's going to work well.

Over on the gauntlet owners site . Was told the New. 25 cal. Has a barrel band in the same place looks like umarex listens to customers complaints
