Working on a magazine holder for the Mrods

Funny I just read my last post like 3 times and I am still laughing "inside-quietly".

I am not sure how many of you work with your wife on little projects like this but whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger

No worries Tim.  I guess I made a mistake when assuming you said you tossed it in with the mag holders.

Also, I am not sure why both of my mag holders came in two different packages/shipments when both were in my cart and paid for at the same time.  There's probably a process going on that I am not aware of that works better for you two.  Just hated to see your margins reduced.


I am tickled pink about these mags holders.  Anyone with a Marauder should be jumping on these.  Best thing since air for the Marauders.

You are awesome!  Thank you so much!  I really wanted one for the Gauntlet, but resigned myself to the fact it still fit the Marauder, so all was good.  Thanks again and I look forward to giving the Gauntlet Mag Holder a new home!

Received mine today,  had to mount it behind the scope due to my side wheel but it works great.   Have to order a third mag now      Much better then having it in my pocket or vest

So, Keith has go me thinking alot about this TAK light holder "I sure hope he get's it soon".

I have been thinking about a combo pack that includes:
1) TAK light
2)Tak light mount
3) direct replacement K Baffles
4) Mag holder

An all in one accessories bag.

I was supposed to get PaulT's Gauntlet stuff out this week but my "boss/wife" has been difficult" cause this is all I have been doing for the last couple days.

BUT,
What she doesn't know is that I have been putting together the "goodie bag for him"
and
Hopefully I can get it all in the package so she doesn't see what I doing.

Thanks Tim!  I did receive the TAK light holder today.  The fill cap end fits nice and snug, but the flashlight end is a little loose.  I plan on melting an inward tab of sorts to make it a more snug fit so the light doesn't push out when working the switch.  I'm lov'n it though!

You should get the modified Gauntlet mag holder tomorrow or the next day. Unfortunately, my goodies bag was discovered and the 8 k baffles and the flashlight holder was removed from upper management 

Please let me know how the Gauntlet mag holder fits.

LOL!  You need to find a new hiding place in a MFZ (Management Free Zone)!  Tracking is estimating delivery on Thursday.  I'll post up some pictures of it on my Gauntlet so you can see how it fits!

 Looks pretty good so far. Nice snug fit.

That is the most beautiful stock I have ever seen on the marauder. Does it feel good when handling and where did you get it. I would love to have a stock like that.

I received my mag holder for the Gauntlet today!  I did have to put two strips of electrical tape on the inside of the top rail of the holder to keep it from sliding on the scope rail, but other than that small mod, it fits great!  I'm guessing the rail on the Gauntlet might be a bit thinner than the Marauder and that's why it fits looser than they do on the Marauder scope rail.  All in all, I love it!  Thanks again for such an innovative solution to carrying magazine when in the field!

I think I may need to get a gauntlet to get precision fits and I am not thinking that's gonna happen with upper management.

Tim, I think the set screw is an awesome idea!  Of course that might kill your reason to get a Gauntlet and have that precise fit you achieved with the Marauder mag holder!  LOL!  The Gauntlet is an amazing rifle, so you sure wouldn't go wrong getting one!  In fact, after installing the mag holder I did some shooting and shot two 10 round mags at 40 yards, the results are below, 10 rounds per target!

As for the pictures, you are more than welcome to use them how you'd like!  If you need any more, just let me know!  Thanks again, and I'm thrilled I was able to assist!

The stock is a Boyd's Blaster, originally designed for the Ruger 10/22.

 Back when Gen 1 Marauders first took over the PCP market, the major complaint we all had was the factory stock.
it was too fat , bulky ,in the grip aera, and it was angled wrong. The gen 1 stocks felt like you were trying to hold onto a beer wrapped around a 2X4.

The Boyd's Blaster stocks were very popular replacements with the thumbhole pistol grip.
 The only slight problem with these stocks on a Marauder, is that the comb is not quite high enough to get a good cheek weld.
 It's perfectly useable the way it is, (and 500% better than the factory stock), but it could use a accessory riser (or adjustable comb) to be absolutely perfect.
 It IS a Pretty heavy stock, and not something you want to haul around on a 30 mile hike/hunt, but it makes a great bench shooter or short hikes/hunting stock.

I don't get it about Ebay. They limited sales the first time,then again, and then finally my wife had to call again. I just don't get that end of the selling part.

I almost had the wife buying a refurbished Gauntlet last night. SO SO close  . All I could think about today was all the cool things I can do for it on the cheap ( there is a lot-no kidding ).

The good news is that the Prod MAG holder will be on Ebay very soon. I truly hope these help my quest in going further into this rabbit hole of designing/building and selling crazy parts for our guns.

I talked with my wife about a website instead of Ebay. Both of us do not know how to do this. If things keep going the way they are, I am gonna need some help from one of you website builders.
