This is going to be a bigbore build so I'll post it in here instead of machining gate.
Something hiding inside a slate of 7075T6 aluminum.
Care to take a guess?

Well lever action it is, magazine would be nice but it makes it more complicated. Maybe a side loader mag could be an option.

And you have machined for how long?
No seriously, 60rpm and drilling you have all the force against the chuck.

Starting to be more holes than material left.
Tangs roughed out and openings for trigger and lever.
Starting to look like a lever action receiver.
