Thanks Jerry!Wayne, you're up next right? Big game with the CP2?Ron, I tried to scrape up enough to make a stew. Mrs. Trigger didn't find it as amusing as I did.Eric, the scope is this one: The reviews are mixed but I'm delighted with mine. If it had been $100 or $150, I'd still feel the same way. It has surprisingly clear glass and holds its point of aim when I adjust the magnification or the objective lens. Granted, I wouldn't chance it to handle the harsh recoil of a springer but it works great on pneumatic rifles.Randall, thank you sir! I'n still confused as to how to prepare this thing. Maybe on a little clump of sticky rice with some wasabi?
Haha, wow! Just when it looks impossible that the price on this scope can go any lower. It’s sold under so many different names and it looks like one is forever undercutting the other. So now for the price of a restaurant steak you can buy one. That’s crazy.
I was out practicing with it on my 43 yard target and I noticed a couple of house flies zipping around and landing on the target. " a rather satisfying smudge " Judging by the spatter, I suppose the shot was a bit low and to the right. Still, it's a $100 gun and a $40 scope. A bit expensive by flyswatter standards but rather economical for an air rifle.
With my eyes being what they currently are I'll never buy another scope that is not AO.
