I managed to get 4 chippers today with the CP2

I decided to try the CP2 on chippers this morning, I had basically gotten it really close as far as sighting in with the H&N Sniper Magnums, when I got out there I sighted it in better from a distance becuase I had sighted it in earlier only at 20 feet.  It was quite a bit different at 20 yards, I actually had to lower the scope cause it was hitting too high and moved it a little to the left and it's now pretty much right on the money as far as a 20 yard shot goes.  I didn't see a red squirrel but if I had seen one close I would have tried for it.

That's some great shooting with your CP2 Wayne!  Nice haul. 

Did the LDC come with it?  It sounded very "effective" when you made that follow up shot on the last Chipper.  Chippers are hard to find in the brush.  I am surprised you find them every time.  You must have great eye sight.

Thanks Harry !!! Yes the LDC came with the package and it's very quiet, I remember back quite some time when Avator(Bill) had gotten his and put the barrel and LDC on his Varmint because it worked a lot better than the one that came with his varmint.  You're right about finding them chippers in the brush, sometimes I don't find them but I lucked out finding them today.  I still do have 20/20 vision yet but I do wear the 1.75 readers for close up stuff.

Right after I bought the CP2 I did open up the transfer port to .171 and managed to get about 11fpe with the JSB18.13's, I haven't put any over the chrony with the H&N Snipers though.  I think I'm getting 12fpe with my Plinkster which is a tad more but I am really happy with the way the CP2 performed today.  I guess I'm going to have to try out the Plinkster on them too
