Saw this on Walmart.com: Benjamin Titan-shrouded barrel,Weaver rail, Thumbhole sporter. Looks just like the Trail NP. Price is $148.00.

They are just rebranding the titan with the Benjamin name. Gun will be exactly the same....actually I may be mistaken, sometimes Crosman issues Wal Mart only air rifles. This could be one of them.

Crosman is re branding the Titan to a Benjamin brand but I'm not sure if the Walmart version is different.

The Benji-branded Titans have a Weaver rail, and the long barrel shroud. Otherwise, the same as the Crosmans, as far as I know.

They also have thrown a 4x32AO MD scope on the gun. Hopefully they start to do this with all their guns. I hate fixed parallax scopes.

Just got news more refurb titans are on the way. We've been out for months. Should be here later this week. Unfortunately my cost went up a few dollars on them but should still be a good deal.

hmmm!!! I just ordered a benji titan for my brother in law, but it hasnt got here yet. Im thinking about holding onto the benji and getting him the crosman referb version. hah, same power-plant, except, he wont get my shrouded barrel, my integrated weaver mount or the sling mounts. haha. when do you anticipate having more titan refurbs in stock? im very VERY interested.

CORRECTION, and WARNING to anybody thinking of buying the walmart benji branded titan. Its exactly the same as the crosman gun. NO barrel shroud, and NO sling mounts, and NO weaver rail,... im so freakin perturbed off right now. I have to figure out if my local wally world will take this back and give me my money. why did i pay $164.00 for a titan when i can get them for $113.00 refurbed (probably in better condition) from other dealers. Im highly perturbed off at walmarts false advertisement. They took a picture of the benji trail and stuck it in there as the new titan. I will take some pics and post them right now for you guys. DO NOT BUY!! unless thats what you want,... no sling mounts, no weaver and no shroud. just letting everybody know.

EDIT: Also, just picked up this scope, its a non AO, 4x32 cheapie. Its worth $10 or so. The funny thing is,.. its equiped with weaver mounts. haha,.... fricken walmart. They only hire the finest of retards to work as cashiers and the elite of stupidity to work marketing and advertising. How did they manage to put the wrong rifle up on the ad online? doesnt anybody review these? what in the *(&^ man?

Thats great. I will be receiving mine on tues. I would never have bought this if I knew it wasnt the model they advertised. I went to wal mart.com to print the ad with the pic, and its not even on the site any more. Did you have any luck returning it Brewerja?

Here are some pictures of the gun i may return. I looked all over it and could not find a serial# or lot#,... i was thinking of doing something evil to walmart for flubbing this up or mis advertising it,.. (accidently) whatever. I was contemplating giving them the ol switch-a-roo when my Airguns-daily refurb titan gets here. we shall see. that is really evil but,.. i dont know yet, hah. let me know what you guys thing about these pictures and the diffrence in them.

looks like there will be refurb Benji Titans on Airguns Daily on the next couple months. It seems the wally website incorrectly posted Trail NP pics. That deal was too good to be true.

Last time I did a wally online order I had it delivered to the store. That way I could just give it right back if it was the wrong item, luckily my crony was the right one and I walked out with it.

I'd be sending it back. Wonder if they got some bad info from crosman or if it was just a major slip up.

As most of you know we ran the titan deal last week. Sold the first batch out in two days. We just got a smaller batch in today. Not running on the daily website because we didn't get enough but have them listed over at Airgun Depot but the price is higher due to limited supply and huge demand. Will be sold out in a couple of days again. Not sure when we'll get more.

GAH!!! Signature only delivery...I HAVE A JOB, DUDE. No option for signature file for download and stick to the door, no signature option on the FedEx sticky left at door. My only option is to have it delivered to a local Kinkos/FedEx drop or take time off of work. Honestly, I can understand both avenues...no way a person can say they DIDN'T get the package and the option to have it deliverd to a local facility to verify delivery....but we are all (or most) working people. Give us a option. I scanned my ID, signed a note and taped it to my door. No dice. I need to actually sign. I have to either take 8 hours off or risk a local delivery spot. That is kinda screwed up. Please offer other options...

Mine came yesterday. As perturbed as I was not to have the advertised model, I put it over the chrony and its shooting cp 14.3 at 750fps. Its actually quieter then my stoeger x20s. I have decided to keep it. I am impressed with the sound and power. I have not had a chance to shoot groups yet, so I dont know about the accuracy.

I got my 2 titans from AGD yesterday. I was super stoked! I compared them side by side to the walmart benjamin titan. This is what i found. They are identical aside from the "benjamin" etched to the left of the wally world version. The AGD guns say "crosman titan" and the walmart version says "benjamin crosman titan" other than that, i have found zero diffrences.... Also, the refurb guns (both of them) apear to have a nice better finished stock then the wally titan. The scopes, the mounts, the cruddy trigger, the muzzle brake, EVERYTHING is exactly the same. So do yourself a favor and just order the refurb'd titan and save yourself some cash. With the money you save, you can buy yourself the tuna trigger and have a few buck left to put towards a scope!!

What i noticed today.... i took one of my titans to work today (at the shotgun range) and got there a little early. i did some break-in shots and zeroed in the scope, since it was a gift for my brother in-law. I put it over the chronograph and discovered its spitting out 720-730 fps, but most of them are in the 724-727fps range with CPHP 14.3gr ammo. That gives me 16.7 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. I finished up at work today and called up my brother in-law, to give him his early birthday gift. He was so excited and just had to go test it out. I zeroed his gun at 25yds and we were taking squirells out to about 65 or 75yds shooting downhill. he has some property behind his house and the squirells are exploring all over his yard, in his garage, under the hood of his truck and his wifes car..... So we "tested" out his gun. i took my 22cal npxl and he took his new titan. I took 16 nutters humanely,.. and he "hit" 9, but only 7 confirmed. NOT BAD!!! im impressed with the titan and i can recommend that gun to anybody. sweet deal, $103.00 each with shiping!!!

Returned my walmart.com titan to my local wally yesterday. I wrapped the box in a black trash bag so that other customers wouldnt freak out seeing me bringing an "OHH MY GOD ITS A SNIPER GUN!!!" into my local san diego walmart. I didnt want to get tazed in the parkinglot and end up on the news, lol. Long story short, they take the gun at customer service/returns and ask me why im returning it. i said its the wrong gun. so the little Philippino girl behind the counter procedes to tell me that they are the same SKU number and that they did indeed ship the correct airgun. So i whipped out my trusty iphone and pulled up the walmart.com ad with the picture of an "NP trail" on the titan ad. and i pointed out all of the diffrences and inconsistencies between the two rifles. So she tells me they look the same to her. i said do me a favor, just go get your boss or get somebody who works in sporting good please. so she returns with a 19year old girl from bath and linnens department, and i tried to explain it to her. Again, same problem. "ummm so,... like is this a real gun or like one of those paintball ones?" i said, PLEASE GET ME YOUR FRICKEN MANAGER!!" manager came over and i pointed out the false advertisement on the walmart.com site. the manager verified by finding the site on his computer and compared what was listed to what was on the counter. looking at the scope, the shroud vs muzzle brake, the no weaver rail, the no sling mounts and the missing white band at the bottom of the grip, it was enough to convince him that it was a genuine walmart mistake and he sincerely apologized for the misunderstanding with the 2 young girls lack of knowledge. I agree, not all of us are airgun aficionados; but when i tell you there is something wrong, please dont insult my intelligence by saying "they look the same to me" if they were the same, i wouldn't be in here, wasting my time, energy and gas in my truck; returning a brand new un-shot airgun!!! got my $164.18 back onto my card and happily walked over to the sporting good section, hoping to score a deal on some pellets. LOW AND BEHOLD!!! They are reselling my gun, it was right back on the shelf within minutes of me returning it. amazing!! no-wonder walmart had all those returns on the crappy crosman titans from before. If something is broken, they will resell it!! I have a plan though. we should all buy 2 titans, then shoot them for 25 days and return them. if everybody does that, you can be sure to see some benji branded titans up on AGD for $89.00!!!! haha
