Yep, very soon I hope so. Need to level the machine and fix the error on the control, lost parameters from battery failure.

Waiting for some tools to arrive.
Steel removal rate is about 220cm^3 per minute. So it'll get the job done pretty fast.

knowing the controllers on the large VMCs is like a blank check.. The value there is hard to measure since one little glitch splits the price in half after warranty is over.

Vmc is on power, only one error code, spindel or magazine waiting reference signal. Looks like faulty sensor to me.

Encoder signals good, no errors on diagnostic leds.
Drives, computer and plc shows green cross the board. Shouldn't be a big problem.

Servos, it's a production machine capable of positioning accuracy around 0.004mm
With a material removal rate of 220cm^3 per minute.

-98 machine so not too new.

One inductive sensor not showing any signal in plc when triggered manually new one ordered and it should be here end of the week.
I hope that is all that is needed, its magazine indexing complete sensor so the control is waiting for that to complete and it never gives a signal.

Won't be long now before I can start using the machine. All fixed and running again, just some maintenance left to do.
