muzzle Brake ?

  Hi,I"m thinking of putting a muzzle brake on my HW 50 and was wondering if someone could recommend one ? I see one on Air rifle headquarters website that looks pretty sweet.Do you need the shims for a 50 ? Thanks for the help.

I put one on my HW80. It's the Apex brake from airgunheadquarters.  Very nice and fit perfect. I used some Devcon epoxy to hold it in place in addition to the two grub screws that I seated against a lead 7 1/2 shot BB to keep from marring the barrel.

The ARH brakes are nice- I have one on an R9.  The 50 in my profile pic has a straightshooters brake, which is also nice.

I have Straightshooter muzzle brakes on both my HW50S and Diana 34.  They fit well and give a bit of leverage to the cocking effort.

I like the slimmer Apex over the Straight Shooter brake. You will need to shim as the 50 is a 15mm barrel. A little electrical tape on top and bottom of barrel works fine.
