This is a scaled down version of the .30 cal NOE Pellet.... There is a new Group Buy starting.... The RG style moulds come with multiple base pins for weights of 34, 36 and 38 gr....

I missed the .30, but then again I'm not sure my .30 guns would do well with the heavier pellet. Maybe I can snag 10 or so from somewhere to test and if so, that'll be my next one.

Bob that's different than the 25 cal mold that I got a while back, I kind of think the pellets mine make are nose heavy. They seem to be a larger nose to the pellet than what the .25 mold you posted.

Kris and Wayne.... The design has been changed since the first .25 cal pellet I designed for NOE.... Many complained about inaccuracy, and the concensus was that they were nose heavy.... I changed the design for the .30 cal., using what amounts to the same nose as a JSB, but with a 60% Meplat so that they can be cast as a nose-pour in an RG style mould where the pins form the base cavity.... The .30 cals are working well, so we copied that design for the new .25 cal pellets.... The original .25 cal pellet, with the longer nose, is no longer available....

When Al made the .30 cal moulds, he included a 4th RG pin to create a solid base pellet.... If he does that for the .25 cal, it would weigh 41-42 gr.... I am awaiting confirmation on that....

I have a Noe .458 hollow point mold with the same pin set up. I swear the mold is jewel like in its machining. Good stuff!

I am very much looking forward to this new mold.

Believe it or not, not only do I enjoy casting, It make shooting affordable for me.. The .257 Talon/Dor shooting 84 gr. bullets at almost 200 fpe, is "So" much cheaper to shoot than the .25 Rainstorm .25 shooting pellets at 45-50-60 fpe.

I just signup for a RG4 Al mold. I casted thousands of PB bullets over the years but never a pellet.
Is there a recommended .25 seizer die for pellets or do you shoot as casted? Bob

I went for the RG-4 Aluminum myself, these gotta work better than the discontinued ones. I'm tempted to modify that other mold, will see when I get this next one. I should probably wait till I get the discount code on N.O.E. before I make my final order.

I have a friend with 1800 pounds of lead. He gave me a couple of 12 pound bricks, so I already have lead.
