Marauder gen 2 problems

I was wondering if any one else was having cocking troubles with mds hammer in aluminum air tube . I thought it was cocking in the tube so I tried it on a ssg to help keep it straight still won't cock all the time even with out pre load from the hammer spring . I noticed it seems like a sloppier fit than the original hammer and the front end is really rounded . Any ideas I thought about machining a aluminum hammer with the front end flatter but didn't know how the tube will hold up being it is aluminum also

I should mention it's a 10 lb spring and am trying to run the ss valve other wise the original hammer was working pretty good once in awhile it wouldn't cock with the 17 lb spring but nothing like this. It's like the rounded mds hammer doesn't want to catch

Give me a call at the shop I think the hammer has to much bevel Ill send you out a new one.

To the original poster;  Just to clarify, this is a problem with the aftermarket parts you installed in the Gen II Marauder, and not the Marauder itself...?

Mine is a GEN I Marauder. 
The stock hammer and SSG hammers both work with no worries.

Yeah it is a aftermarket part and  I called jsa I will be sending it back for a replacement thanks

Make sure the Allen screw that goes into it isn't tightened too strongly.  If you tighten it too much, it squishes out the plastic, and makes it bind in the tube.  It should only be put in snug.  Use Loctite to hold it in place.
