QB78 conversion what gas block?

Where can I purchase a gas block for the conversion to HPA. Want to run it at the set stock tank pressure nothing to crazy. What would you suggest I do. Keeping busy polishing parts right now. Thanks for any info.    Mike

You can use the one from a QB79, or the one from JDS Airman.... I believe Travis at JSAR is making a new double-ended one (can hold 2 tanks, forward and/or backwards)....

Besides fooling with the pumper gun mods this will be my first PCP  project gun. The pumpers have given  me a lot of the basic knowledge on valves, hammers, ports, polishing parts and springs. The majority of this knowledge I have learnedI got reading both of your gentleman's posts on your projects and feed backs to others. I have a new Marauder in 25 cal. The QB will help my learning curve with it. Thanks again.    Mike

at that point why not just get a beeman chief and skip the project.. its basically what the mountain air job would be.

the idea of the drop block and tank is the regulator/./. which will result in incredible shot count;.. just making the tube a pcp tube makes the gun a pcp , but doesn't make it regulated or add the additional volume a tank does.

Any other options to the Ninja tank with regulator, if so where can I get one.     Mike

There are lots of paintball tanks around, nearly all of them are regulated at 850 psi and can go lower, not much higher.... Ninja make a reg. call the "SHP Pro" which is 1100 psi, which is what I used on my QB79 conversion.... You can also get tanks from Mac1 Airguns and have the reg. set to whatever pressure you want.... JSAR may also offer this service.... With a converted QB, you want to stay with a 1.8K burst disc, which means your maximum pressure will be about 1400-1500 psi or you will blow the disc....

Thanks for the info. Trying to decide what to do, New valve and leave co2 or convert, or start with a new 79 or just buy the Chief. A lot to ponder on.   Mike

Have been reading about the mini valve, they use a ball point pen spring for the stem mod. Is this the common spring to use.   Mike
