Hello All,I just received my Hatsan Torpedo 100X air rifle. I decided to go with the wood stock and gas piston. UPS dropped it off and the package was in great condition. The inside box was also A OK but some of the foam shipping pads did get broken. No damage to the rifle that I can see at this time.I will leave it in the workshop to warm up tonight and then tomorrow I will take some test shots.Rifle was shipped from Pyramyd Air.
Sorry Guys,I give up on trying to load pictures on this forum. I tried 8, then 6, then 4, I still get an error message that my file is to big!!!!
OK now if you click on the pics they will jump up in size. Why don't I have some test results??Well mama wanted to go to the store just when I wanted to set up the shooting bench. Well we went to the store! When we got back we had appointments to get our hair cut. So no testing today. Here is a thought to ponder over, the barrel and the bolt are one in the same. When you open the bolt the barrel slides forward and then back when you close it. OK that works great and I like it but, if it slides, I would hope that when the bolt is closed the end of the barrel would be snug in the barrel pipe or tube. If I can find a service manual I might be able to figure this out. You may say why? Well I believe the rifle would be considerably more accurate if the barrel was always in the same plane as the barrel tube. Maybe if I find another front sight I can remove this one and see what is holding the end of the barrel.??At this point I don't know that it is even a problem, just thinking. Later Wade
