This one came from Mac1. It's modded for 2 ctgs (the piercing toggle is from an 1100 Co2 shotgun).
He also reinforces the valve assy and 'fixes' the stock rotary mag by replacing the retaining coil-spring with an O ring. Shoots 10-11 fpme now, and quite accurate.
Likes Superdomes and FTTs. Crosman had some innovative Co2 designs, back in the day..

Thanks for sharing! Interesting gun. I think more guns should be slide action.

There’s re-sealing to factory, and then there’s improving on the original and making it all it can be. Guess that’s what decades of seeing these things as a repair station will do. For example, separation of the tube is pretty common on the 622. Good thing to get fixed.
I usually wait till I have both a 622 and an 1100, then send both in at the same time. So tweaks can be made and parts can be swapped out to make each better.
Didn’t know the 622 magazine would get worked over too.

I don't remember if it was an official Crosman service bulletin or not, but some 622s that were returned for repair to service centers for feeding problems had the chamber reamed oversize to "correct" the issue.
1 of 3 that have passed through my hands had it done.

The revised model had a small release to get the mag out when a pellet jammed.

According to Tim, the reaming @ the breech was mandated for repaired guns to help prevent jamming. The common cause was a 'light', or incomplete cycling of the action which would chamber a pell, but not fully cock the action.
The reamed examples will develop less power due to a loose seal @ the bolt O ring. The mag-mod replaces the coil spring, which tended to chew-up the bolt O ring.
It's a solid shooter, once a few design flaws have been addressed.

What would you guess effort required to cycle action and trigger pull are?

I'd call the trigger 'decent' (seen much worse).
Cycling; 'vigorous'

That's a sweet one. I had one back in the early eighties and many Necco wafers paid the price!
