Just going to add to the confusion/strife:
But it does look like a well tuned, limited pressure range, super-cheap, Beeman "Chief" might get to 1MOA at a reasonable power,.
CHEATS: I did cheat a little bit...FOUR TIMES.
#1 "Cheat"...from shooting a full 2K to 1K shot strings over a chronograph, figuredout where the "sweetest of the sweet spot" lived. IN this case, pretty limited to the really good shots (lets say 2.5%A varation or lesss) between somthing like 1800 and 1400psi.
#2 Cheat: It took me two fills over that pressure range to get it sighted in nearly perfect. You won't get 30 "sight in" shots for any use other than "pharting around". For huting, would want it "right one" as take out the safe....but paper shooting isn't hunting, so I really don't mind the "preview" wrm up/ sighting in/scope adjutement to get to here.
#3 Cheat: tested a whole oot of pellets to find what seems to work best.
#4 cheat: bench rested.sand bagged that rifle like a WWII Japanese pill box in a John Wayne WWII movie.....ity wasn't going anywhere.
So...with the four cheats: staying within the best pressure range, knowing what pellet actually wroks best (so far), and usng several fills to get the POA/POI to match.
Which is sub 1MOA at 50 yards....which lets me believe that the vidio tests at 100 yards showing near 1MOA is certainly possible.
Goodkids kids happen in dysfyunctional families....and bad kids can happen in the most privilaged families...so why can't good barrels happen in mass produced China-made barrels?

All I can say is that the barrel in my little .22 Maximus is amazing.
It will shoot every bit as good at 50 yards, if not better.
But I wouldn't bet a plug nickel it can shoot MOA at 100 yards.
Tall order!

You know shooting @ 100 yards is a huge difference.
Nice groups at 50 BTW.

Huge?
Well, it can be if the pellets do the "dance of death"...other wise, if stable, I'd rate it as 2.5X the group size for 2X the distance. Yeah...logic would have 2X the distance equal 2X the group size, but the real world numbers seem to be more like 2.5-3X for 2X the distance (there is just more vind vaitiablity. less precison in aim, and "retarded" pellets that go all "goofy" (psiral pattern) with distace.
So, form the limited number of 100yard grous with this rifle...limited to the best-of-the-best 15 shots of it;s small unregulated life span....more like 1.3-1.5MOA at 100 yards.
Which isnt a great big deal for good airguns...and likely farther than I should ever shoot at live things with a 23-25 foot pound PCP....but it does seem to hold to that 1 1/2MOA figure so long as I keep it in the best-of-the-best velocity variation area.
