So my son and I recently purchased the Hatsan 135 and I have some observations. First I want to say how much we both love this rifle!
This rifle shoots like a dream.
It is a little bit of a challenge to cock but not too bad.
Right out of the box it was almost dead on at 20 meters.
The Quite Energy systems is great the loudest part of shooting this rifle is the pellet hitting the target.
The trigger is very crisp and you definitely can feel the two stages of the trigger.
The one thing I can say that I do not care for is the safety lever. It is made of plastic it works just fine it is just seems a little chensey. Besides this rifle feels and shoots like a rifle that should cost over $1000.  I highly recommend this rifle.

Congratulatioms! I just got one yesterday, myself. First time Hatsan owner. While it's not broken in yet; I did get quite a few pellets through it. My experience is the same as yours. Ready to shoot, straight out of the box. All I did was wipe the excess oil from the breech face with my shirt, and started stuffing pellets in it. At 25 yards it was a 1/2 inch or so off to the right, straight out of the box.
I also agree with you about the noise. Their sound suppresion system seems to work remarkably well. The pellet smacking my gongs on the other hand... Wow! These things pack some punch.
While the plastic saftey lever didn't really bother me; I agree the gun deserves a metal version. Its really that good so far. I found it odd that the saftey is to be pulled rearward, in order to fire. The exact opposite of the Diana's. But works just fine.
As far as the stock goes on mine... Well... It is walnut. I suppose. It actually has some decent grain underneath the rather poor finish. But that's really not the dig that it sounds like. One has to consider the price point of this gun. If I had paid 100 bucks more than I did for this gun; like I would for a Diana, or HW... It would already be back in the box. But I didn't. The gun is very affordable. And a pleasure to shoot. As long as it holds up, with no mechanical issues; I'll have gotten my moneys worth. No doubt about it. Heck maybe after a bit; I'll buy one in .25, just so I can break the .30 down for a tune, and refinish the stock. She’d be a real beauty then, no doubt.

I have to admit that I've wanted to pull the trigger on this gun for a while now.   Nothing really has held me back other than the fact that it fills no niche for me. I've got other guns that will do pretty much what this would do functionally, if not by the same means. 
Still, it continues to draw me and I'm happy to see folks are enjoying theirs.  Maybe one day I'll snag one up.  I think I like the idea of it as much or more than anything at the moment.

So I think that the niche t filled for me was one it is a .30 that is not a PCP. I do not have a PCP or a PCP pump.
I am hoping that I can still purchase one of the molds on here for this Diablo style pellets. That will fill my survival niche. With a .30 rifle that requires no external anything other then the mold I could literally survive with just this rifle the mold and a pack of pellets and make sure my family could eat. Great thing for my break out pack.

Let me interject here that a 'niche' never has stopped me in the past....haha...    Bottom line is that it's a process for me.  I feel the need to 'justify' a purchase such as this and I'll go back and forth on it coming up with pros and cons, be they real or imagined and 'niche' is an easy con.
But I'm sure I'll pick one up sooner or later.   Just too cool not to do so...ha
