pellet pressure??

 I got a few pumpers that I start to think around for different modding..  My question is : at what pressure a pellet is starting to move in a crosman barrel   I know you can shoot a pellet with only one pump but I need to know when it start to move for other calculation for modding the pump...  5, 10 15 psi ?

I'm not real sure there would be a specific "right answer"to the question, due to it would depend greatly on the pellet being used,.. caliber,.. it's head size,.. skirt size and thickness,.. rifleing depth,.. pellet engagement to that rifleing depth,.. rate of air flow,.. etc.
I am certainly no expert or engineer, but I'm confident more qualified and knowledgeable members will chime in with their input.
It is an interesting question though, and I will subscribe to see what others have to say.

Maybe if you were to elaborate a bit more on the end objective, members will be more able to help.

Even with the tightest pellet in the rifling , and a small volume of say 8cc behind it without a poppet..  I was just wondering at what pressure a GOOD FIT PELLET TO ANY GIVEN BARREL start to move down the barrel...  This will al goes with calculations and equations for fitting a small fork shock hand pump that I want to fit into a 1377 or 1322 for punching higher velocity with the existing valve..  I would plug the pump directly to the valve but, I need to calculate the pressure required to move the pellet before incorporating it..
The number of pumps need to be calculated for over heating due to it's incorporation to the existing gun...

 Take a standard air compressor with regulator, seal it to the barrel with pellet inserted, and pointed in a safe direction, start with lowest pressure possible.
