Hey GTA Peoples,

Here is a question for the masses. What is your most accurate spring or gas ram rifle, scope attached, and pellet it likes? Not a wish list, one that you own or have owned?

I’ll start it: AA Pro-Sport FAC Walnut (.177) Vortek SHO, Hawke Airmax 30 4-16 x 50 / RWS Lockdown one piece 30mm mount, using AA Diabolo Field Heavy 10.3 grain.

Curious to see what all you guys use and does best for you.

HW95 with my leapers 3-12 compact swat and 11.2gr GTO pellets

Mine has been my D48B; with a Nikon P-308 scope,shooting H&N Field Target Trophy 5.55 (.22). This is my go to rifle. It best gets the job done for me across a range of scenarios. From casual short range plinking. Moderate range pesting. And it’s the rifle that got me into N.U.A.H.
I’ve bought a few “Good” rifles since. But none have supplanted “Black Betty” as “The One”.

HW97K .20 with a Nikko-Stirling Targetmaster 6-24X50. Hits anything up to 50 yards with either H&N FTT's or H&N Barracudas. Hard to find a better springer scope combo.

Until I get a HW97K like Stefan, mine is my D34 Meisterschutze (.177) with a Hawke Vantage (4-12x40 AO) scope and using H&N FTT 4.50 / 8.64 grain pellets.

1. Benjamin Trail NP2 with a UTG 4-16x50 AO shooting Verminpel 14.3gr.
2. Stoeger X20S .22 with a CP4-16x40AO shooting CPHPs 14.3gr.

Both very accurate to 25 yards. Never shot either further. Both have trigger tunes. If I want a springer, I will reach for either without bias. Although I having serious difficulty finding Verminpels!!!

Hence why these are the ONLY springers I have left ...

It was my HW98 with a Hawk sidewinder, but I sold her. Now it is my Pro Sport with a Sun Optics 4-14X44 FFP. She is bad to the bone and will get better after I have a little more work done on her.

For me, that's a really close one to call!
I'd probably narrow it down to two...

Vintage FWB 124, vintage Beeman Blue Ribbon scope, JSB excts 8.44gr

Vintage R1, CenterPoint 4x32,, H&N FTT 8.64 gr

#1 ... mendoza rm800 th/old bushnell rimfire 3x9 x 32?/jsb 8.4gr, worn spring, puts 12fpe with jsb 8gr. Inside 25yds its a single hole machine if i do my part... stretched a few times to 40 on hosp... with lethal results...

#2 ... stoeger x20s/utg 4x 40mm AO/jsb 15.89 gr.
Have taken several 100yd shots on black birds, deliberately... well rested.

TX200HC with Optisan Viper 4-16x50 shooting Air Arms 8.4 gr .177

I have one in beech completely stock shooting 14.15 fpe, and one in walnut tuned, shooting at 11.70 fpe, both with same scope and pellet.

All depends on how snug the screws are.

My Black OPs with a bugbuster , CPUM 10.5gr. hits the mark most of the time.

My shooting is limited to 30 yards off a bench. If I had to pick one, it would be my 3-9x40 Nikon EFR scoped brown HW97K with JSB 7.87 gr. Express pellets but, kinda' like Lizzie said above, I have others that are not far behind her.

HW97, FTT 4.51 or JSB 7.87, Simmons 6.5-20x44AO MD
But I don't actually shoot it that much because I generally prefer shooting mid weight sporter rifles over heavy target rifles.

Diana 34 with Vortek spring. UTG 3-9X40 AO 1" Mil-Dot Hunter Scope with Burris XTR rings. UTG compensator mount. JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89gr pellets. Very accurate to 50 yards using my treking pole shooting stick.

Can't tell between my TX200 with an Airmax scope.

LGU with Hawke Endurace scope

HW97 with Hawke Sidewinder

All in 177 using H&N FFT and JSB Diablo pellets. They all perform the same on any given day. Often one hole at 40 yards when the wind is silent.

Daystate Wolverine "R" Huma regulated on the way that may cancel the above, but that ain't a spring or piston gun.
