CA Senate bill 798 update

To update everyone on the progress of the Senate bill banning black and wood air guns and air soft gun.  There was a hearing today regarding the bill and according to the Senate website the bill has been amended a second time and re-referred to the Commission for public safety.  I would assume it will be for a vote but I am not sure.  The next hearing date is set for the 21st of June. 

Whether you are from CA or not be afraid of this bill.  There was a unofficial vote in March and the bill passed (not that it matters) by five votes I believe.  Now five senators did not vote in that unofficial ballot so it could prove to be close but all that is required for this bill to pass is a simple majority.  That means one senators vote could change the end result here.  If you have not gotten a chance to sign a petition or email or make phone calls please do so.  Our AG brothers and sisters in CA need our help so please take some time and give it to them.

This affects all of us, not just the people in Ca. If this passes, it can spread to other states. We need to let our feelings known and stop this.
