Correct me if I am wrong, but once you post in one topic you get +1 post count and you post again on the same topic you post count doesn't increase.

Interesting, that a person's count doesn't increase after the first comment in a thread.
I was a long time lurker myself before I joined. I've been surprised, selling a few air rifles on the Canadian forum how many lurkers there are on these forums, guys that have been reading posts for years but have never gotten the desire to write anything. I can certainly understand the reasons for the rules, but it is a shame. We probably have missed a lot of great pics when people introduce themselves.
Another thing that bugged me when I finally took the plunge and joined was that in my intro I asked a few questions about my airgun. I've noticed a lot of others do that too. And in my case along with most others I've seen, they just get these generic robot answers, "welcome to the forum", lol, as if there is some kind of crime in at least acknowledging the question they asked? That was a huge turnoff to me, but, as you see, lol, I overcame it and went on to figure out how to post and start threads

. I guess it does weed out the guys not really committed, but I want to thank the op for helping guys out and posting their pics and generally showing some friendliness. To me that's what makes this forum so great!

I think you're given/earn a post count only when you actually post something of valued.....and not just jibberish

I'm not really sure then, why I have as many posts as I do

Having run away from a few other forums that were a lil neonazi or just didn't care to take steps to keep span ads from getting plastered all over them. I for one am relieved to have found myself a new online AG home here. This rule made perfect sense from my past experience elsewhere.

Hi Jarno! My wife lived in Hollola before she was conned into marrying me and moving to Canada, lol! I married her in Lahti, first with the judge then at the church. Tied the knot twice to make sure she didn't get away

Anyway, welcome to the forum! Do you guys have airgun clubs or get togethers with friends to do some target shooting in the Lahti area?

The finnish airgun forum "sihry" has some active members but they mostly are with PCP guns (that is still on my to-do list.. or waiting to get less poor actually

Say hello or "terve" to your wife - she might recognise this area Linnaistensuo - that's some one mile away from our house - I also am familiar with Lahti and surroundings (Hollola included) , been in about 10000 households delivering appliance in the past jobs..

Could be fun to sometimes actually shoot with someone.. but snipers do usually work alone

. The Snowpeak guns are pretty cheap to get into if you are looking for a pcp. There is quite a few websites in Europe selling them now. Oh, those are quite cheap for PCP's .. well I have to dig into that area bit deeper
- I just got these 4 rifles in my signature inside one year ( after getting a bit carried away lol, but they were some really good bargains

) and probably start selling at least some of those at some point to fund the future PCP thingys.. so maybe I'll get the most out them this summer..
- if it arrives at some point.. we are after all practically the only country (almost entirely) that is above 60 degrees north latitude ( except Iceland of course which is the only one entirely..) - so I basically live in Anchorage, Alaska -latitudewise-

.. oh, and 'Hyvää Vappua' - that's a Finnish national holiday tomorrow ( 05/01/2018 - if I used the correct dateformat there.. the 1st of May anyway )

Happy air gunning! I remember on one of my trips to finland jumping in the river in May, it was so warm out. The river however, was freezing! I never would have done it, but I was with one of those crazy ice swimming Finns! Anyway I hope spring arrives with your holiday and you get some beautiful weather soon.
