Call for Crosman Town & Country Senior Stock Numbers

I would like to start a log of Crosman Town & Country Senior Stock Numbers. As many of you know Crosman kept no records of the number of Town & Country rifles produced. There are also no serial numbers, at least on the majority of these guns. It seems there are 2 different types of Seniors produced.
1. The 1949 thick stock
2. 1950-? Thin stock with through stock safety.
It appears the 1949 thick stocks may have been out-sourced and given they are cut from one piece of wood, they had a number embossed on each side of the cut to match them during manufacturing. See my number pictured below.
I currently have about 16 stock numbers including Terry’s. The highest has been 1305. If these numbers were not repeated? it could be a proxy for the number produced. If you have one or if you see one in your travels please report to me if you would:
1. The Stock Number, or absence of one
2. The Caliber, 107 108
3. Stock type, does it have a through stock safety?
4. Serial number if one found, one has been reported on the tube.
Thanks,
«

I no longer own this rifle but here are some pics I took when I did have it. It is a 108 with the thick stock. The stock number is 227. It also had a number on the pump linkage as shown. Hope this helps with your data collection.

Current stock numbers. So far no duplicates, if that happens then these are batch numbers and not that helpful. It hard for me to think a batch would go to 1305 in a batch number but who knows. DT Flecther thinks in 1949 they were very busy bringing out a lot of new products, thus could have outsourced these stocks? They certainly are not typical of Crosman stocks? But all conjecture.
Current numbers are:

Just updated the current numbers. What has also been interesting is the number of 107s reported. They don’t seem to be as rare compared to the 108s as maybe is thought?

More numbers in from another forum. Up to 20 rifles.
Interesting pattern so far, it seems the rarer rifles may be the thin stocks through safety rather than the 107, though the 107 is slightly rarer so far. (In Blue Book 107s are double the price!?) This does probably show the obvious that the model started out with a batch of thick stocks, then toward the end they turned to thin stocks they were now using on other models? As a collector it does give me modivation to buy a thin stock? I should want a .177 107 but I just think this massive rifle should be in 22. Lol. But seriously I do like 22 for a pump.
I need to remember from my statistics class how large a sample you need to start being able to rely on the trend? But as I remember I really hated that class!

Updated to 23 rifles, interesting the last rifles I have been entering have been mostly 108’s so the 107 being rarer is proving true, but those 107s are out there. The thick stock number variance looks strange to me, lots of low number then that jump to 1305, just doesn’t seem random? Look at all the 200’s?
