I'll tell you about one I had.
It came bundled with my at44. 4x12 x 50 AO. At full 12x the edge of the glass became blurry, but,,, most of the glass was clear enough for 80yds shots. Took several squirrels.
Eventually I sold it to a friend with a Hatsan Mod 87 (which I also sold him hehe). He has it to this day, and man is he a good shooter. So far, the scope has been holding. Almost a full year. Numerous hunting adventures.
Hope this helps a bit...

I had a couple of them on some springers, including their 3-9x32 scope on a 125th. Held zero for years before I sold them both together.
Clarity and reticle wise there's better out there, but for the price I found they worked just fine for me and were reliable enough for hunting.

IMO I wouldn't go out of my way to buy one. If its a freebie ok. Ill give it to some one that needs a scope to hold them over.

I have one of these. Every review I read was just slamming the quality of the thing.
My Hatsan Mod 95 came with a 3-9x32mm. At first, it was producing blue color fringing like no tomorrow, with soft edges through the whole range, etc. Not a diopter /eye relief issue, either.
So, yeah, I was like 'dang, this thing stinks.'
But, it doesn't.
Luckily, I know a fair bit about optics since I've been using telescopes since I was a kid (add that I am professional photographer, as well - have worked in multiple camera shops, etc).
Anyway, the front element of the scope is perfectly adjustable and can be brought right in to near optical correctness.
I had a closer look at it and realized that the front element can be tuned for focus.
* Loosen the decorative lock ring at the very nose of the scope, that backs off the locking pressure of the front element grouping.
* Then carefully turn that grouping until it's perfectly in focus for whatever zoom adjustment you prefer.
* I chose to to set it at a point where it looks good through the full zoom range. It's pretty sharp through all the settings now and the color fringing went away.
I think these scopes come from the factory rather poorly assembled and have not been QC'd at all except to make sure they are simply put together. No one looks through them and gives them the final tweaks they need to be the best they can be for what they are.
Honestly, I put the thing over my Simmons Rimfire 22 that I picked up. The Optima 3-9x32 now has a brighter, crisper image, and with better color accuracy than a supposed name brand for half the price.
