Having trouble with reading PM's I keep getting an error.

I was informed by a fellow member that they couldn't send me a message and when I went to my messages I got a database error   anyone else having the same problem.

Yep, pm system broke AGAIN. Folks need to clean out your in and sent boxes!!! Programmer is working it now. But it costs us every time he has to repair this. And it's starting to happen once or twice a week. Not good. If folks don't clean out the message boxes I'll have to do it myself. And that's not good.

I cleaned mine out! I say temporary ban on those not cleaning out!  gives an incentive

Mine doesn't have much in it...cleaned a while ago.

It is an ongoing process with me.  Every couple days or one a week, I clean out the sent stuff.  The inbox stays with about five of my favorites.

There is still issues with the sent folder this morning.  I get an error when trying to view the sent messages.  I changed my settings to conversation mode and can see the reply messages that way though.  I did clean out all of my messages a few days ago.

OH man, I'm a packrat and like to store some of those old messages, especially when someone is yelling at me!!!

What is the error? I've yet to see PM's throw errors on any of the SMF boards I'm taking care of.

This is very useful. I've found that keeping SMF up to date is at times critical. That being said, I've also encountered issues/bugs at times to update.

GTA has a much larger user base than any of my forums, and I find it very interesting to see where SMF chokes.
