Great deal posted on the bargain gate so I jumped on it. The trigger has very heavy as received but a little attention got it down to around 1.5 lb. After about 200 shots it is starting to get heavier so I'll have to see what's going on.
Mounted a Hammer's 4-12x40 magnum airgun scope using the included one piece mount. The mount does not not fit the receiver grooves perfectly and causes the scope to be off-center. I'll have to address that later.
It will hold .50" to .75" five shot groups at 30 yards with Crosman 10.5g 7.9 domes @ 972 fps and 22 16.5 fpe.
Surprisingly, not hold sensitive. Nearly the exact same POI with supported artillery hold or rested on a bag.

I have had one .25 for some time now and I’m very happy with it. I use the open sights on it and I hope once I get settled in my new house that I will get to shoot it more. I did shoot it last week a little bit but I’m sure it’s not broke in yet

Released the Dragon for a quick shooting session yesterday. Cold and damp with a brisk left to right wind but it still held some respectable groups at 35 yards. Trigger has settled to a predictable 4 lb. pull.
Crosman boxed 7.9 domed pellets. Front rested on a bag.

Best five shot group of the day was just under .5"

I have one in .22 (not the Max, tho). They are good solid +/ 20 FPE rifles in .22.  Amazon also has the next step up in the Norica line, the Black Eagle in both .177 and .22 for $99 shipped. These are steel spring rifles with a wood stock and a really nice trigger.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. These were selling for $229 on Amazon not long ago.
