Benji Trail NP XL1100 seal kits?

It's not as easy as I initially thought to find a seal kit for the Benjamin Trail NP XL1100 .22 magnum. I'm finding piston and breech seal kit, but that's about all for this rifle. Besides lubes used and the like, and what's best to use? Need a lil help here too on a cheap spring compressor as well?

Leonard, the only seals in the gun are the piston seal and the breech seal. Both are available from Crosman, and both should be pretty cheap. As far as lube, all you should need is molybdenum disulfide (moly) grease and you don't need a lot of it. Air Rifle Headquarters is a good source for Moly, and one tub of it will do A LOT of guns.

Do a bit more research.  I don't think the NPXL series requires a spring compressor.

I believe the piston uses the same seal as the NP2 series.

Roadworthy makes a good point. Watch Kenny's video, in it he reseals his NPXL1100, and replaces the trigger (if memory serves). I don't recall him needing or using a spring compressor.

Check the jack in your car. If it's the scissor type they make great spring compressors.

The XL series doesn't require a spring compressor. The end cap just unscrews. It's not under any preload. The end cap can be a little difficult to remove from the thread locker Crosman uses.

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure about pre-loads on Nitro rams. Better safe by asking than remaining silent and removing all doubt. I'm rebuilding one that's at least 4 years old. It's has a darker finish than my newer NP XL725. The barrel shroud is also discolored from the desert heat. It is also visibly bulkier and a bit heavier...a pound maybe?  Older Benjamin Trail NPXL1100 .22mag;

  To be honest, mine just doesn't, " feel" quite as bulky? Looks a bit more refined as well.

I just used a maccari pistom seal on mine. And I believe you can get the piston seal for it from PA now. When I did mine a while back I used the Walther talon mag seal. My breech seal has never been an issue for me but I assume just buy one from crosman. Mine really didn't gain any performance from tuning it. But it made even smoother and sweeter than it already was. It's a very accurate shooter for being a 24 fpe gun. No spring compressed needed as the end cap is threaded. Just take it easy getting it out.

Thanks guys. Waiting on the seals to get here. Moly lube and 30w silicone oil are here today. Just gotta get the other parts in...

I'm waiting on the delivery of my new Crosman XL 1100 .22 rifle and when replacing the trigger  and the Piston seal , its been stated a few times here that a spring compressor is not needed, but in the accompanying video, Kenny (RIP) clearly uses a SPRING COMPRESSOR. I plan to install a breech seal and trigger at minimum and maybe a Piston Seal. The Piston Seal sounds like a tedious process, and if a spring compressor is needed, I may pay to have that part done. Has anyone done this work lately ?

I finished this one in early spring or so, 2018. Just cut a piece out of a pop can to get the new piston seal/piston assembly past the rear threads in the compression tube. Don't wanna tear up the piston seal. But before you do that, lube the piston sparingly with moly paste. Wear gloves.
