After not doing anything except paper punch for the last few weeks, I was getting a little bored of it. So I decided to head out to my grandmothers house to see if I could take out a starling or two. I went out to the back porch, and slid the door open a crack. To my surprise, there were 2 squirrels running around a tree about 20 yards away. I load up the mag with JSB 15.9s and take aim on one when they stop. All you hear is a slight "ping" and "thawk!!" Clean heart and lung shot. 1 down.

10 minutes later, a starling shows up in the same tree, a little closer down. I take aim upper breast. Again, a small "ping" and it immediately goes upside down, barely hanging on by a foot. Boom, it falls and hits the ground with a thud. 2 down

Not even 15 minutes after (I couldn't believe my luck. This gun is seriously quiet.) Another squirrel shows up on the far fence, about 25 yards. By now i'm very confident in my gun and line up right below the ear. "ping" and it absolutely folds. Not even a little twitch. Right where the stick is, is the entry hole. Exactly where I held crosshairs. 3 down.

Finally, another starling shows up, almost in the same place his buddy did. Practically identical. Didn't even bother taking a picture. That's 4.

All in all, the best hour i've ever had with an air rifle. This Urban has me completely enamored. Can't wait for more days like this!!

Nice haul there Ken. Don't you love it when it all comes together like that?

Let me ask you a quick question; how do you like the stock on the Urban? I have a Coyote, and the stock is a bit chunky and awkward. I have heard that the actions are interchangeable, so I was thinking of changing out my stock to the Urban's.

Congrats on some fine shooting and great pics. I waiting for my replacement Urban to arrive, should be here in a couple of days. After I get it I'm hoping to nail a few starlings in the backyard.

Anyway, great shooting and thanks for sharing your hunt.

Thanks! & I find the stock very nice. The fore stock is narrow and has great grip. The pistol grip is also really nice, it doesn't tire my hand out. All in all, no complaints.

Great shooting with your Urban. It is fast becoming one of my all time favorite air rifles, and I've owned a bunch. The stock fits me just right, the accuracy is stellar and they are fairly quiet. Plus easy to tune power up or down.
