My Sheridan or Benjamin project

I've been asking about serial numbers and thanks for all the answers.  I just wrote (Flint) to ask what years the 20 cal and Benji 392 had cartridge valves. I want to do a little hunting so I'd like to bump up the FPE a little. With the removable valve type I can buy a new valve from Crosman and do the experimenting on it. I can always put the gun back to stock.

Mac1 recommended a 392 before 2005 because of the drop in QC on the newer 392 models.

I posted in the classifieds. Not much luck yet.

I take both my Vintage Sheridan's & Benji 392P's hunting for small game. Both are lethal but the 392P's pack a little more umf. A recommendation was made on your other post referencing a Vintage Dan instead of the C9 & I agree. As for the 392, I would make sure its a "P" ('91-'93) or the "PA" ('94-'96) these had the same trigger group as the "P". 

All my Dan's like the JSB 13.73gr & my Benji's like the CPHP 14.3gr.

I have a couple of '96 Benji 392PA I might be interested in selling.
