Not nearly as exciting as Harry and Longislandhunter ground hog hunts, or Shadows country rat and bandit hunts, or the exotic hunts of Nomadic Pirate. But here are a few quick photos of some light pesting around the yard. And these little guys will test ya, they are supper sketchy and trying to pick a house sparrow out of a bunch of House Finches is no easy task. I missed a few and had one runner but for the most part I’m holding my own against these evasive little buggers today. I absolutely love shooting my little Daisy Power Line 922, it’s fairly quite for yard pesting and I can’t believe how accurate these little guns are. Shooting this thing takes me back to my childhood, who could ask for more than that? The hard part is laying off the Eurasian Collard Doves in the yard. The wife is now working from home and tells me during the day we are getting upwards of a dozen of them under the feeders at a time. And the Starling parents have already been teaching their young my backyard is off limits to foraging in the lawn. Lucky for me I have two very understanding neighbors that have given me the green light to shoot into their yards.
Off to support the kids at the county fair today so probably won’t get much hunting in today and the archery elk season starts this weekend so my attention will soon be shifting to slightly larger game, but hunting is hunting. Enjoy the pics.

Nice shooting. That's not a bad looking little gun. When I hear "Daisy" I think of the $30 pumper I got for the kids when they were small. That was a toy, yours looks like it's got some nice wood grain.

Very nice shooting on those Sparrows Ed! They are small targets and challenging to shoot. The Starlings are keeping away during the summer hey? Same here! They are too smart. We 'll get them again in the winter when they are starving and won't have any choice but come in

Good binoc's and a steady hand leads to invasive extraction . This year has been good i set up a large wood disc with a dish of seed out my back door at 7 yards .It has attracted many song birds and also lots of english sparrows mostly females who try to sneek a meal .The shots are fairly easy with the p5 diana pistol so exterminating is fun this years tally has been well over 70 and counting daily .I stopped shooting pic's and posting it due to what i saw as lack of intrest .Funny starlings never come in but the ES never really learn some days i can get 3 to 5 a day every day . Good work with the dasiy must really be a challenge nice shooting .

Nice shooting. I've been taking a 1-4 almost every day, IF I keep the feeders full.
Something I noticed: This year, for the first time, we've got two broods of SONG sparrows. The juveniles look a lot like house sparrows save for the speckled breast and striped head but coloring is more muddled, so just in case, be patient with the glass!
I'm convinced that I've got more wild birds thanks to killing so many hosp's and starlings.

When hunting zombie starlings, there are two approaches. The first approach is the "Double-Tap". The alternative is cutting their heads off and putting toothpicks through their hearts.
It's your choice.

Yep, looks just like mine. Great gun for the money and I still can't believe how accurate they shoot.
